At the end of 2017,a “National Treasure” brought the museum's cultural relics into the lives of the people at close quarters, stimulating the people's enthusiasm for entering the museum. This is another "Museum Boom" after the free opening of the museum all over the country in 2008.This article selects the Yunnan Provincial Museum as a case study, and combines the narrative theory in the field of literature to explore how the museum's narrative is constructed. In the context of clarifying the narrative background of the museum, first of all,it starts from the aspect of production and construction of museum space, describes and summarizes the museum narrative macroscopically and people's macro cognition and understanding of the museum. Then,it settles on the“person” and analyzes how the interior of the museum completes the museum narration through curation and interpretation, the two aspects from the concrete activities of the microscopic aspects.Through the investigation of a national-level local museum,it is possible to discuss in a relatively universal level how museums can realize human-to-human communication and dialogue through narrative.Judging from the broad external environment, the museum serves as an independent medium throughout the urban space and is a landmark of the region. It relates to the image of the city, participating in the generation of local identity and collective memory. Therefore,it surrounds the Yunnan Provincial Museum in terms of space. The spatial composition of geographical buildings and the generation of human identifications are discussed. From the narrow internal environment, the museum itself is a complete set of narrative discourse system constructed through many different media elements and forms. There is a special narrative line and discourse mechanism centered on the Dian Culture. The language's curatorial display or interpretation may have a key role in the cultural transmission of information and dissemination. The museum's narrative expression of the interior exhibition constitutes a relatively stable,narrative-free,and full of rich meaning through the different narrative subjects of curators, narrators, and audiences.Museums are also absorbing individual memorieswhile carrying collective memory, and museum narration has therefore been continuously enriched and expanded. From macro description to micro practice, from curatorial activities to explaining activities, the purpose of the article is to explore how museums can achieve different relationships between museum and ordinary people, curators and narrators, narrators and listeners through different narrative practices. Also, communication and dialogue between people of different identities.
