With the explosive growth of online variety,various forms of variety have emerged,and talk shows are one of them.As an exotic,talk show has experienced a long period of"transformation" in China.Nowadays,it has become a kind of program that Chinese audiences recognize and love.In recent years,online talk shows like Xiao Shuo,Luo Ji Si Wei snd Bao Zou Da Shi Jian have come into the public eye and have received high attention and click-through rates.However,copyright cost pressure,form restriction,content homogenization and so on,have set up obstacles for the development of network talk shows.For a long time,there was no famous talk show.How to attract the audience's click on talk show,how to protect a place in the variety show wave,also became the problem that needs to be solved.But Roast,inject a dose of strength into the online talk show in 2017,the audience will also see more possibilities for the future development of our talk shows in China.In this paper,combining with the theory of "use and satisfaction","subculture"theory and maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to show audience psychological needs analysis of Roast,hope to konw how the Roast can be the phenomenal programme.First of all,based on the introduction in the finishing of the literature of previous studies,generalizes the talk show related articles and network,also on the related articles of the journal Roast were analyzed.Secondly,this article through to the program after all aspects of the analysis that Roast to satisfy the audience in the equality and respect,peep,entertainment slow-release,cultural identity aspects of psychological needs,these are laid the groundwork for it get high CTR and attention.In addition,the program also has many problems,such as lack of truth,lack of connotation,lack of changes in program settings,etc.Finally,the article from the above have some thinking,sucn as our network-show should study and grasp the audience's psychological demand,pay attention to the innovation and localization,but also needs to be vigilant against the problem behind social,such as excessive entertainment.
