In modern industrial processes,HMI(Human-Machine Interface)shows real-time state information of industrial filed and provide input interface of control process.The fixed mode of HMI brings some problems,such as difficult device debugging,difficult upgrades.Mobile human-machine interaction is the best solution for the above problems.However,in the existing systems,the engineer has to manually select the target machine from a long list.The manual selection mode increases the operating burden of engineer,which may leads to incorrect connection and waste of time.In the industrial plant,the face-to-machine interaction is the most typical manner:the engineer should face to the machine during the interaction to ensure the machine works accurately.The face-to-machine interaction manner makes the proximity estimation algorithm suitable to simplify the data connection.However,due to the densely deployed machines and the frequent HMI operation in the industrial plant,the existing algorithms can not provide sufficient accuracy with limited latency.In order to solve the above problems,the automation connection algorithm for industrial machine based on Bluetooth is proposed in this paper.The goal of the algorithm is to ensure the estimation accuracy under the constraint conditions,and the estimated time of the algorithm is optimized.In order to study the characteristics of wireless communication in the application of industrial human-machine interaction,we design a mobile industrial human-machine interaction system,which combines with Android smart devices and Bluetooth technology.Experiment results show that the system can display sensor data and modify parameters at any place around the machine.Then the system is implemented in a hot melt glue machine.Based on the mobile human-machine interaction system and considering the densely deployed machines in industrial filed,the industrial human-machine interaction network experimental platform is built.The experiment platform is used for collecting the experimental data,meanwhile,the research test and performance analysis of the automation connection algorithm are conducted on the platform.For in-depth analysis the distribution characteristic of mobile node and gateway node in the experimental platform,the network space model is established.The network space model uses mathematical formula to parse the usage scene of automatic connection algorithm.The automatic connection algorithm designed by this paper is suitable for the scenario of face-to-machine interaction.In that scenario,we study the signal fluctuation of gateway node and the signal difference caused by the different space distance between the mobile node and the gateway nodes.Then the filter conditions for the nearest gateway node are derived.Based on the analytical results,the automation connection algorithm for industrial machine named face-to-machine proximity estimation(FaceME)algorithm is proposed in this paper.The FaceME algorithm uses RSSI difference to estimate the nearest gateway node,which simplifies the process of access to the target device in the mobile human-machine interaction system.The experimental results prove that automation connection algorithm can provide guaranteed estimation accuracy and low time complexity that satisfies the requirements of the face-to-machine interaction.
