In recent years,colleges and universities have become the disaster areas of negative news.Especially in the recent 10 years,negative news in Chinese colleges and universities has occurred frequently in the fields of safety and stability of teachers and students,enrollment and employment,teaching and scientific research,and logistics infrastructure construction.The frequent exposure of negative news in colleges and universities not only affects the development of colleges and universities,but also affects the formulation and implementation of relevant education al policies.Furthermore,it also brings bad effects on the healthy and orderly development of education in China.According to the process and results of dealing with negative news in colleges and universities,it is obvious that there is no good achievement.Most colleges and universities are lack of awareness and experience of avoiding the negative effects of negative news,and also lack of effective measures.The negative effects of some negative news could have been avoided or eliminated,but they have caused more serious consequences due to inappropriate measures.It is very embarrassing for colleges and universities to train professionals as their mission.Under this circumstance,it is worthwhile to explore and study how to avoid the negative effects of negative news in colleges and universities.This research has strong practical significance and theoretical guidance as well.Based on the theoretical framework of public management and the reality,this thesis develops the topic into four parts: firstly,it clarifies the research background,significance,content and method of negative news effect circumvention in colleges and universities,secondly,it scrutinizes the relevant theoretical research review and basic concepts,and then carries out empirical discussion with real cases,endeavoring to improve the current situation of negative news effect circumvention in colleges and universities.Finally,it puts forward specific strategies to avoid the negative effects of College negative news,including guiding ideology,basic principles,institutional settings,mechanism construction,etc.This thesis is innovative in research perspectives and analysis methods,and highly practical in specific measures and means,hoping to provide useful suggestions for universities to avoid the negative effects of negative news.
