Research On The Influence Of Free-tuition Policy On Recruitment Attractiveness Of Secondary Vocational Education

This paper focuses on study about Free-tuition Policy effects on recruitment attractiveness of second secondary vocational school education.With the investigation and analysis of the case school,summary and demonstration on recruitment attractiveness influenced by Free-tuition Policy in secondary vocational school education are offered.Discussing the specific ways to develop attractiveness of secondary vocational school education provides reference for all levels of government,educational departments and secondary vocational schools,concerning education development.Based on the analysis of the development and implementation of Free-tuition Policy for secondary vocational school education,comparison and contrast on statistics reveals that widespread implementation of the Free-tuition policy,started in 2009,stimulates a short-term growth in the scale of the secondary vocational school education.The growth ceased in 2011 and declined gradually.This policy,to some extent,stimulates the developments of secondary vocational school education at the beginning.But,as time goes on,the recruitment attractiveness of secondary vocational school education has not been maintained,or even decreased.According to research on Free-tuition Policy effects on secondary vocational school education,with Guangdong M Vocational School as an example,recruitment attractiveness for junior high school students of secondary vocational school education,though contributed by Free-tuition Policy,is less than that of senior high school.In recent years,due to a shortage of publicity and promotion for Free-tuition policy and the implementation imbalance of Free-tuition Policy,recruitment attractiveness of secondary vocational school has not been improved by Free-tuition Policy as it was expected.Meanwhile,the recruitment attractiveness of secondary vocational school education is associated with students' after-graduation employment and further education.Based on the analysis above,this paper offers practical suggestions to improve the effects of Free-tuition Policy on recruitment attractiveness of secondary vocational school education,concerning adjustment and implementation of Free-tuition Policy,school education reform and government support,etc.It provides reference on education management,publicity and promotion for corresponding departments.
