The Impact Of Family Development Ability On Fertility Behavior In Rural Areas

As a family internal affairs,fertility is closely related to family development ability.Studying the influence of family development ability on the reproductive behavior of residents will help to establish a sound family development policy,help our country tide over the crisis of "low fertility trap" smoothly,and promote the coordinated and balanced development of population.This paper chooses various indicators of family development ability to explore the impact of family development ability on the reproductive behavior of residents in rural areas.Family development ability is the support ability to achieve a family goal within the family.This ability includes both positive and negative aspects.In this paper,the family development ability is operationalized into such indicators as the number of family population,the health status of family members,the net income of family economy and the various burdens of family.By using the methods of investigation,statistical analysis and comparative analysis,the family development status and reproductive behavior of some villages in four counties of Shaanxi and Ningxia are studied.The multiple linear regression model is used to analyze the indicators of family development ability.The impact on the number of births,the number of male children and the first childbearing age of rural residents.It is found that in rural areas with strong fertility desire,the rational fertility and irrational fertility are intermingled,and the degree of rationality varies with the regional historical background and development status.Secondly,among the indicators of family development capacity,the net income of family economy is not the primary factor affecting the reproductive behavior of rural residents.Compared with the net income of family economy,thedirect impact of family burden is more important.Under the background of "two children in an all-round way",to ensure the reproduction of rural residents,we need to focus on improving the family development ability.To improve the family development ability,we should start with alleviating the various burdens of rural families and take various measures to effectively improve the development ability of rural families so as to achieve the population goal of improving the rural fertility rate and the social goal of guaranteeing the life of rural residents.
