Researches On Lude And Education In The Qing Dynasty

Lu De was a prominent educationist in the Qing Dynasty.And he was a man of great attainments in several fields such as verse,calligraphy and painting in ancient China.“Education”of the paper mainly comprise of education in the Ancient Academy(??)and at home.As it was widely published and disseminated that the textbooks of eight-part essay(???)were compiled by Lude in the Ancient Academy and a large number of his disciples won promotion in the officialdom in the Qing Dynasty.Lude was one of the most celebrated writers of eight-part essay and Examination Poems(???).However,Lude has been a controversial educationist whether his purpose of teaching disciples only was to make his disciples to pass Imperial Examination(??)and he hindered them from the personal space of learning.Nowadays,the research findings about Lu De have been very few and were mainly concerning ideologies of eight-part essay and Examination Poems.This essay,therefore,is going to study the issue of whether Lude hindered them from the personal space of learning in the Qing Dynasty,which is based on numerous academic research results and documents.In the first place,it introduced lude's biography and publication and dissemination of his writings in order to show the influence of Lude's eight-part essay and Examination Poems in the Qing Dynasty.In the next place,educational ideologies and content of Lu De is researched.In the last place,it is studied that lude's ideologies have effect on his offspring and disciples.In short,his purpose of teaching disciples and offspring were virtuous Confucian scholars and officials.And Lu De cultivated disciples from morality to Imperial Examination and then to government affairs so that they would be good person or officials.Lu De isn't an educationist who only want his students to go through the imperial examination.Most of students and offspring have become talent with both ability and integrity,so Lu De didn't hinder them from the personal space of learning.In addition,educational ideologies of Lu De are some valuable.
