Academy is a specific.educational organization in ancient China. It has a relatively perfect system of examinations, a standard which student can be enrolled by Academy, the touchstone which testing the effectiveness of student study. In Qing dynasty, Hunan Academy entrance examinations included Pre-entrance Examination and Usual Tests, the second one normally is used by kind of test classes. Therefore, the author will mainly research two aspects of the the author will mainly research two aspects about the examination system of the academy in Hunan Province during Qing Dynasty., one is the entrance examinations, and the other is the test classes.Firstly,ti is Introduction, including the issue of the proposed research, research information ,significance and structure. Chapter two focus on the current social enviornment. Government's Academy policy, local officials'attention in test classses, the existence of external factors in Hunan style of study and the internal factors in the pre-and post-period evolution of Qing dynasty which caused by Hunan Academy examinations. The background of Hunan Academy in Qing dynasty is consisted and combined by the above all factorsThen, mainly research entrance examination. First of all, author describes the way of Hunan Academy Admissions: screened,chosen, exemption, remediation. Second, the writer adapt combination of static and dynamic method to analysis the number of enrollment so that researching the Academy enrollment from the perspective of college students. Third is concerned about how to assign number of enrollment and the fair problem in the process of assignment and so on. Finally, the writer will discuss Academy students. Yuelu Academy will be used as an example to analyze the distribution of students, their age, the educational level of students and the family background.Again is about the test classes. The type and organization of the examination are written in the begining of this chapter, then follows the introduction of the content of examination and test papers , the content strengthen on the assessment of individual moral level. In addition, Hunan Academy also takes some positive and negative methods to encourage the students'test classes, such as the prize in bonus, accommodation, taking in classes, honor and the punishment in deducting classes. The end part sum up the impact of Government's Examination to the Academy test.Last, the auther also make the statistics table to list some important figures in Hunan Academy of enrollment, students, the test class types, analysis papers, etc.
