Family Memory:A Case Study Of Zhai's Family

Family memory is the core element of the continuation of the family development,but also an important part of the family culture.Through the review of the family development process,to understand the history of family development,as well as family members in the modern Chinese society in the great changes in the process of showing the fate of the family and social changes are closely linked.In this paper,Zhai family as a case study,the use of life history theory,cultural memory theory,using oral history,field investigation and literature research methods to study.The first part introduces the basic situation of the family and the memory of the past life.The second part describes the family development period of the Zhai family from the late Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the war;the third part is the life of the main family members The fourth part is to describe the family decline and family separation after the war;The fifth part is the family after the separation of family memories how to continue the narrative.On the one hand,from the perspective of life history,this paper analyzes the important influence of huge social changes on individual life history,and discusses the relationship between individual and society in social change.On the other hand,with the change of the times And the development of family memory as a kind of cultural memory,has produced tremendous changes,under the influence of the new media,the new means of communication enriched the family culture,the original family memory,family culture and new forms of communication to become a continuation Family development of the important driving force,making the family culture more rich and diverse.
