Research On Game Between National Power And Subnational Power In Scotland Independence Referendum Movement

The nation state as a state form originates from Europe.It is gradually recognized by the world,which then develop into the mainstream country form in the world.The construction of nation state is an ongoing process,and there is repeated phenomenon in the process of its development.Britain as the earliest builder,its state form has been becoming mature.It is confused that the referendum took place in Britain.Facing the fact,I am thinking about something.For example,whether the Scottish Nation defeated British national power or not,the change of power is because of democracy or the unity of country.I try to understand the scottish independence referendum through the perspective of power to show the basic qualities as a political science student.In essence,the scottish independence referendum reflects the operational process of subnational power and national power in Scotland.This process went through a long period of time.During it,we want to know that why we chose the independence referendum as a method to solve Scottish problem through the bout of subnational power and national power.It can be seen from analysis,the scottish independence referendum shows us five characteristics.The first is that,the develop of Scottish National Party is linked with the decentralization of Labour Party.Second,there is a negative correlation between the government credibility and the power of Scottish National Party.Third,the Scottish National Party chose the proper political strategy in different stage to enlarge its power.Fourth,in the face of domestic and international economic crisis,the British government failed to save the economy,then the Scottish National Party gained a greater impact.Fifth,only under the leading of central government,the decentralization of power is benefit for everyone.
