With the continuous development of economy and society,social management requirements to further enhance,the government is using temporary staff for the shortage of manpower.Temporary staff has become a special group of government staff can not be ignored.Due to the temporary staff does not belong to the formal staff,there is the lack of sound management standards.Compared with formal staff,the temporary staff have more career bottlenecks,lower wages and the imperfect guarantee.Why are there still young people willing to engage in temporary staff?What are their career motivation?Whether it will affect the government efficiency?This paper study on the young temporary staff of township government in S Town,C City.From government factors,family factors and individual factors,this paper analyzes the career motivation of young temporary staff in the government.Career motivation is to promote the behavior of the actor to make a decision to choose a career,and to maintain this action until reaching the goal.As a kind of informal personnel management system,the system of temporary staff is still lack of effective management.The young temporary staff work for their personal purposes,and the personal purposes are running far from the goal of the government.The temporary employment system provides a solution to solve the problem of human resource shortage in the social management for the government.However,the young temporary staff who have the above career motivation have a negative impact on the government efficiency.
