Analysis On The Dance Creation Of The Original Dance Drama Li Qingzhao

This paper analyzes the dance creation of the original dance drama Li Qingzhao.Based on the prototype Li Qingzhao,a poetess of Graceful and Restrained School in Song dynasty,the dance drama uses famous poems written by poetess throughout the dance drama and integrates them into its creation through drama,music,choreography,stage property,dance limbs and other forms.Combined with Li Qingzhao's life experience in different periods,this dance drama not only presents the image of a knowledgeable poetess,but also shows Li Qingzhao's noble spirit of integrity and patriotism of being concerned about country and people.This paper analyzes the dance creation in the dance drama from three aspects: dance movements vocabulary,the use of dance property,and the integration of music and dance.Through own theoretical knowledge of choreography and the practical experience of this dance drama creation,the author tries to explore the commonality between Chinese traditional culture and dance art,and find a new way to inherit and develop Chinese traditional culture.
