Clinical Observation On Sleep Quality Of Children With Adenoid Hypertrophy Treated By Acupoint Application And Infantile Massage

Adenoidal hypertrophy is a common respiratory disease in pediatrics,and the incidence rate is high.Snoring and poor sleep quality are common in children with the disease,which may even affect their physical and mental development,and even produce adenoid decent appearance.The common method of modern medical treatment is adenoidectomy under general anesthesia,but the surgical site is close to the skull base,there is a certain risk;complications are easy to occur in the wake-up period after general anesthesia;adenoidectomy is of great significance to children and there is the possibility of recurrence after resection,so it is not recommended to be light and easy to remove.In traditional Chinese medicine,there are many problems such as long treatment course,slow effect and low compliance of patients in the course of treatment,such as internal use of herbal medicine,external use,non-drug treatment(massage,moxibustion,acupoint application,auricular points,etc.).Objective: To explore the combination of massage and acupoint application to form a set of effective Chinese medicine appropriate technology for adenoid hypertrophy,and to verify the clinical effect of this technology,so as to provide a new method for the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy in children.Methods: 59 children with adenoid hypertrophy were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group.The control group was treated with children’s massage regularly,three times a week,four weeks as a course of treatment,two consecutive courses of treatment,during which other drugs and treatment methods were stopped;the experimental group,on the basis of the control group,plus acupoint sticking for two hours,three times a week Time,four weeks for a course of treatment,continuous treatment for two courses.The data of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded.The results were evaluated subjectively and objectively.All data were analyzed by spss25.0.Results: Acupoint application combined with infantile massage has a positive effect on the sleep quality of children with adenoid hypertrophy;the effect of acupoint application combined with infantile massage on the sleep quality of children with adenoid hypertrophy for eight weeks(three times a week)is more obvious than that for four weeks;acupoint application combined with infantile massage can effectively shorten the proportion of light sleep time during the night sleep of children with adenoid hypertrophy,The duration of deep sleep was prolonged,and the follow-up effect could be maintained for more than 1 month.
