Objective: To compare the difference of short-term therapeutic effects on cervical cervical vertebra pain points by using Pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation and Strain-counterstrain respectively. Methods: The subjects were all from patients admitted to the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Eastern Hospital of Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July2018 to December 2018.According to the inclusion criteria,66 patients were collected, and 66 patients were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group by the method of randomized controlled study. The experimental group was treated with the Strain-counterstrain,while the control group was treated with the Pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation. The two groups of patients were treated four times each, with an interval of 3 days. All the visit data required for follow-up before and after the first treatment, after the second treatment, after the third treatment, after the fourth treatment and after the treatment course were completed, including the simplified Mcgill Pain Questionnaire.MPQ),The Neek Disability Index(NDI),and the related data of cervical flexion, extension, left deviation, right deviation,left-hand and right-hand angles, flexion, extension, left deviation and right deviation muscle strength recorded by the multifunctional cervical vertebra test and evaluation system.SPSS 21.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis to test the difference in level P<0.05.Results: 1.Both groups of patients completed the experiment according to the experimental procedure; There was no significant difference in gender, age and course of disease between the two groups by chi-square test and rank sum test(P > 0.05).The two groups had the same baseline and were comparable.2.Comparison of MPQ scores between the two groups: the total effective rate of pain relief in the experimental group was 97%,and that in the control group was 100%.After analyzing the distribution of curative effects of the two groups by using the rank sum test of two independent samples(P<0.05),the difference was obvious, which showed that both Pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation and Strain-counterstrain could achieve certain curative effects in improving the pain degree of tenderness points in Cervical Spondylosis, but Pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation could achieve better improvement effect than Strain-counterstrain.The effect trend of manipulation with one-finger meditation on improving pain degree is better than that of setting and relaxing technique.3.Comparison of NDI scores between the two groups: the total effective rate of dysfunction in the control group was 87.9%,and that in the test group was87.9%.The difference between the two groups(p<0.001)was analyzed by rank sum test of two independent samples, which showed that although the control group of the experimental group had the same effective rate, the treatment effect of the control group was better than that of the experimental group,i.e.Pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation was better than the setting relaxation technique in improving cervical vertebra dysfunction.4.Comparison of MCU data between the two groups: it is found that the data recorded in the two groups before and after the first treatment are different from each other(p<0.05)except for the backward extension angle and right rotation angle of the control group. The difference between the data before the first treatment and after the fourth treatment in the two groups(p<0.05)indicates that the treatment has certain effects. There was no difference between the experimental group after the first treatment and the fourth treatment except for the right deviation strength(p<0.05)and other items indexes(p>0.05),which showed that the effect of improving cervical spine movement in the experimental group after the first treatment was similar to that after the fourth treatment. After the first treatment and the fourth treatment, the control group has differences in other indexes except flexion angle, extension force and right deviation force(p>0.05)(p<0.05),which indicates that the effect of improving cervical spine movement in one treatment is different from that in the fourth treatment.5.comparison of patient satisfaction after treatment between the two groups:the total satisfaction of the experimental group is 93.9%,and the satisfaction of the control group is 93.9%.after the rank sum test of the two independent samples, the curative effects of the two groups are different(p < 0.001),which indicates that the patient’s satisfaction with the Pushing manipulation with one-finger meditation is higher than the Strain-counterstrain after the whole experiment is finished.Conclusion:1.The Strain-counterstrain and Pushing manipulation with one-finger have the same effect on the instant curative effect of treating cervical cervical vertebra pain points. Both methods have the characteristics of safety and effectiveness. In clinical treatment of Cervical Spondylosis,it can be considered to combine with other methods to achieve the purpose of promoting disease recovery as soon as possible, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.2.After four times of treatment, both techniques have the effect of improving MPQ score,NDI score, cervical spine mobility and muscle strength, but the efficacy of the Pushing manipulation with one-finger may be better than Strain-counterstrain;At the end of the course of treatment, the Pushing manipulation with one-fingeris more effective than Strain-counterstrain in maintaining the curative effect.3.The clinical satisfaction rate of Pushing manipulation with one-finger is higher than that of Strain-counterstrain.
