Backgrounds:China is a country with a large population.With the rapid aging of the country,the mental health and quality of life of the elderly in China have become urgently needed livelihood issues.Due to the large base of longevity old people in our country,the number of people with disabilities in China and the number of people suffering from depression,anxiety and other psychological diseases are also relatively high.Therefore,screening and discovering the mental health level of the elderly and improving the quality of life of the elderly are also an urgent problem to be solved in our country.According to the traditional customs in China,home-based care is the most popular way for the elderly to choose.However,with changes in family structure and social development,such as fewer children in the family,intensified social competition,young people have great work pressure,long study time,and insufficient time to take care of the elderly,the traditional way of supporting the elderly at home is no longer suitable for today's society.Institutional pension is a trend of future social development.Medical nursing combined with institutional pension is a way to provide comfortable living environment for the elderly and timely provide more professional medical care services for the disabled or mentally ill elderly.It is also a way to support and promote pension in China.Zhenjiang city is a pilot area of China's medical reform and pension reform.Therefore,this study takes Zhenjiang City as the research scope and takes home care and medical care as an object of research.It compares the mental health and quality of life of the elderly under two different models,explores and analyzes the related factors that affect the quality of old age,and improve Provide scientific basis for the level of Zhenjiang's old-age service and the advancement of Zhenjiang's old-age service industry.Purposes:This paper makes a comparative study on the mental health level and quality of life of the elderly under the two modes of home care and medical care combined with old-age care in zhenjiang city,and explores a new method to evaluate the mental health level of the elderly,so as to provide a scientific basis for improving the physical health and mental health level of the elderly.Methods:This article will use the quality of life test scale to assess the quality of life of the elderly.In addition,the use of psychological scale assessment and projection test to assess the mental health of the elderly.(1)Scale test:the General Demographic Data Questionnaire,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Scale(WHOQOL-BREF)were used to randomly survey the elderly in three elderly medical care and nursing homes and home-based elderly people in Zhenjiang.Finally,SPSS19.0 statistical software was used to perform normality test,?~2 test,t test and linear regression analysis on the two groups of data.(2)Projection test:For the first time,a random survey was conducted on three elderly medical care and nursing homes and home-based elderly people in Zhenjiang by using a tree painting projection test method.By scoring the painting features of the tree's crown,branches,leaves,and roots,there are 68 scoring items in 9 dimensions,which constitute 6 indicators of anxiety,depression,extraversion,introversion,neurosensitivity and aggressiveness.One point of a corresponding index appears in the participant's drawing,and zero points of the index does not appear.Finally,scores of each index are calculated.SPSS19.0 statistical software was used to perform normality test and t test on the two groups of data.Results:(1)There were significant differences in age,marital status and the number of children between the elderly in medical care combined institutions and the elderly at home(P<0.05 or P<0.001);(2)The anxiety level of the elderly in the combination of medical care and institutional care and home-based care in zhenjiang city was higher than the norm level of anxiety,and the anxiety level and four dimensions of home-based care were higher than the level of medical-based care and home-based care(P<0.05).(3)The depression level of the elderly in the combination of medical and nursing institutions and home-based care was higher than the depression norm level,and the neuro emotional symptoms of the elderly in the combination of medical and nursing institutions were higher than the elderly in Zhenjiang(P<0.05);(4)Among the semi-quantitative indicators of the tree painting test,the anxiety(score)and aggression of the elderly in the combination of medical care and nursing care in institution care in zhenjiang city were lower than that of the elderly in home care(P<0.05).(5)The physiological field of elderly care in medical care combined institutions in Zhenjiang city was lower than that in home-based elderly care(P<0.05);(6)The quality of life of the elderly in Zhenjiang City's integrated medical and nursing institutions is higher than that of the elderly at home(P<0.05);(7)The physiological field and anxiety factors affect the quality of life of the elderly in Zhenjiang(P<0.001).Conclusions:(1)The mental health level of the elderly in zhenjiang city is relatively low compared with the norm level;(2)The quality of life of the elderly in medical and nursing institutions in zhenjiang city is higher than that of the elderly at home;(3)The tree painting projection test method can be used as a method for evaluating the mental health of the elderly,and provides a new method for evaluating the mental health of the elderly.
