Objective Retrospective analysis of 6266 hospitalized neonatal cases in 4 years.Statistically summarize the types and composition of diseases, and explore their characteristics and trends to guide discipline construction and clinical work. Methods Data on neonates hospitalized between 2015 and 2018 was analyzed retrospectively using the SPSS25 software. Results 1.General situation of hospitalized children in neonatal department: There were no differences in gender and birth weight among the 4 groups(p>0.05).Compared with 2015 and 2016,the proportion of Han nationality decreased in 2018,and the proportion of Hui nationality increased. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The length of hospital stay increased in 2016,2017 and 2018 year by year;the proportion of children staying within 3 weeks increased in 2018 compared to 2016;the proportion of children staying longer than 4 weeks increased in 2016 compared to 2015,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The prognosis of the 4 groups of children was lower in 2016 than in 2015,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).2.Disease spectrum characteristics: The top 10 disease ranks in the 4 groups are consistent and statistically significant(P <0.05).Premature infants, neonatal jaundice, neonatal pneumonia, neonatal asphyxia, neonatal infections rank high in the main diagnostic spectrum;neonatal jaundice, neonatal anemia, neonatal pneumonia, neonatal infections, premature infants, atrial septal defects, coagulation dysfunction, metabolic acidosis, neonatal asphyxia, patent ductus arteriosus, respiratory alkalosis, and respiratory failure rank high among all diagnosed disease spectrum.3.Trend of disease spectrum:Neonatal jaundice increased in 2017 to 2016.Atrial septal defects increased year by year in 2015,2016,and 2017.Patent ductus arteriosus increased year to year in 2015,2016,and 2018.MODS increased in 2016 compared to 2015,and infectious diarrhea 2017 Increased from 2016,intracranial hemorrhage increased from 2017 to 2016,urogenital diseases increased from 2017 to 2015,brain damage of newborns increased from 2016 to 2015,and esophageal diseases increased from 2017 to 2016 Platelet disease increased in 2016 compared to 2015,and genetic metabolic disease increased in 2018 compared to 2016.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Neonatal pneumonia decreased year by year in 2015,2016 and 2017,neonatal anemia decreased year by year in 2015,2016 and 2018,bronchopulmonary dysplasia decreased in 2018 compared to 2016,and gastrointestinal bleeding decreased in 2016 compared to 2015.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion 1.Neonatal jaundice, neonatal anemia, neonatal pneumonia, neonatal infections, preterm infants and other diseases have a higher incidence in hospitalized children, and the top 10 diseases of the hospitalized children’s disease have not changed much in 4 years.2.The diseases that tend to increase in hospitalized children in 4 years were: neonatal jaundice, atrioventricular septal defect, open ductus arteriosus, respiratory alkalosis,MODS,infectious diarrhea, intracranial hemorrhage, urogenital Systemic disease, neonatal brain damage, esophageal disease, platelet disease, genetic metabolic disease.Diseases with a decreasing trend were: neonatal anemia, neonatal pneumonia, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
