| Objective:1.To observe the efficacy of intravesical instillation of Bacillus Calmette-Guérin(BCG)and Epirubicin(EPI)in preventing postoperative recurrence and progression of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.2.To observe the occurrence of adverse reactions of intravesical instillation of BCG and EPI.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 152 NMIBC patients with TURBT routine in the affiliated People’s Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2016 to December 2017.According to the different postoperative bladder perfusion drugs, they were divided into the observation group(BCG group,n=57)and the control group(EPI group,n=95).General data such as age, sex, body mass index(BMI)and risk grading were collected, and the differences of recurrence, progression and adverse reactions between the two groups were followed up.Metrological data were expressed as mean±standard deviation, and independent sample t-test was used for comparison between groups;enumeration data were expressed as cases and percentages, and X~2 test was used for comparison between groups;Kaplan-Meier was used to draw recurrence free and progression free survival curve, and log-rank test was used for comparison of recurrence free and progression free survival rates. Results:There were no significant differences in age, sex,BMI,risk classification and ECOG score between the two groups(P(29)0.05).The recurrence rate in the observation group(22.8%)was lower than that in the control group(36.8%),and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.038);The progress rate of the observation group(15.8%)was lower than that of the control group(23.2%),the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.257);Urinary tract irritation was found in 28.1%of patients in the observation group and 12.6%of patients in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.017),and there was no significant difference in other adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05);The total adverse reaction rate(61.4%)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(43.1%),with a statistically significant difference(P=0.029),of which 8.8%and 6.3%were in the grade III~IV observation group and the control group, with no statistically significant difference(P=0.808).Conclusion:BCG was better than EPI in preventing recurrence after NMIBC and there is no significant difference in the prevention of progression. The adverse reactions of BCG bladder perfusion were more than those of EPI,and there was no difference in grade III~IV between them. |
