Objective:At present, the stable occlusal plate is an effective treatment for masticatory muscle pain.In this study, the T-scan Novus digital occlusal analysis system was used to detect the occlusal force during the four periods of wearing the stable occlusal plate. The distribution of occlusal force and evaluation of the occlusal effect of articulating paper on the stable occlusal plate, with a view to guiding the clinic. Methods:Twenty patients with clinically diagnosed masticatory muscle pain and treated with a stable bite plate were collected. The T-scan Novus system was used for two aspects of analysis: firstly, wearing a stable occlusal plate, detecting the distribution of the occlusal force of the stable occlusal plate after the articulating paper guided the occlusal adjustment and after T-scan Novus guided the occlusal adjustment;Detect the distribution of occlusal force of natural teeth before wearing the occlusal plate and when wearing it for 1 month,2 months and 3 months. The indicators of the T-scan Novus test are: the difference between the left and right dental occlusal force percentages, occlusion time, and disclusion time,so as to determine the changes of the early contact point, occlusal interference point and occlusal high point. The paired t-test and analysis of variance were performed on the test data with SPSS22.0 software.Results:1.Occlusal force distribution of articulating paper after occlusal adjustment and T-scan Novus guided occlusal plate after occlusal adjustment: T-scan Novus guides occlusion time, disclusion time, percentage of left and right dental arch occlusion force after occlusal adjustment. The differences were all smaller than those after occlusal guidance guided by articulating paper, and there were statistically significant differences in the disclusion time and the percentage of left and right dental arch occlusion forces(P<0.05).2.The distribution of occlusal force of natural teeth before wearing the occlusal plate and 1,2 and 3 months after wearing the occlusal plate: the difference in the percentage of occlusal force of the left and right dental arches, the occlusion time, and disclusion all showed a downward trend, and the population is statistically different(F <0.05).Except that there was no statistical difference in left disclusion time and right disclusion time when wearing natural teeth for 2 months and 3 months, there was a statistical difference between the other groups(P <0.05).3.The number of early contact points, occlusal interference points and occlusal high points of natural teeth before wearing the occlusal plate and 1,2 and 3 months after wearing the occlusal plate gradually decreased, and the population is statistically different(F <0.05).For the early contact points of natural teeth, there are statistical differences between wearing before and wearing for 2 months, before wearing for 3months,wearing for 1 month and wearing for 3 months, wearing for 2 months and wearing for 3 months(P <0.05).For the occlusal interference points of natural teeth, there was no statistical difference between 1 month and 2 months after wearing,2months and 3 months after wearing, and the remaining groups were compared in pairs.differences(P <0.05).As for the occlusal heights of natural teeth, there was no statistical difference between wearing for 1 month and wearing for 2 months, and there were statistical differences between the other groups(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.The articulating paper has its limitations, and it can’t detect early contact and occlusal interference points completely.2.The T-scan Novus digital occlusal analysis system can accurately detect the abnormal occlusal contact points, reduce the occlusion under its guidance, and significantly improve the occlusal balance.3.The stable occlusal plate can significantly reduce the abnormal occlusal contact points of natural teeth in patients with masticatory myalgia, and improve the occlusion of patients.4.Regular follow-up and timely adjustment are required during wearing the stable occlusal plate... |
