Development Of Self-care Ability Scale For Primary Care Of Reproductive System Of Female Of Childbearing Age

Objective:The purpose of this study was to develop and carry out reliability and validity tests on the strength of primary care self-care in reproductive system of women of childbearing age,and to provide a scientific and practical evaluation tool for evaluating the ability of primary care self-care in reproductive system of women of reproductive age,with a view to improving the ability of women of reproductive age to identify potential or existing risk factors affecting reproductive system protection and to select healthy behaviors.Methods:1.Literature review.Based on literature review and analysis of Orem’s self-care theory,to understand the research progress of self-care ability and related scales of female reproductive system primary care at home and abroad,to explore the connotation of self-care ability of primary health care of female reproductive system of reproductive age,to determine the scale evaluation scope.2.Semi-structured interview.Through semi-structured interviews with 15 women of childbearing age in Taiyuan,to understand the self-care needs of primary health care of reproductive women of reproductive age,combined with literature review and theoretical analysis results,the preliminary dimensions and item pool of the self-care ability scale for primary care of reproductive system of female of childbearing age were initially discussed.3.Delphi expert consultation method.20 experts who are familiar with the treatment and prevention of reproductive system were selected for three rounds of Delphi expert consultation by letters or on-site distribution of expert consultation form.The initial scale of self-care ability of reproductive system primary health care for women of childbearing age was formed by selecting items through importance assignment,expert opinion and so on.4.Pre-survey(first questionnaire).In this study,the purpose sampling method was used to conduct a pre-survey of 10 women of child-bearing age who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in Taiyuan,Shanxi Province.They were invited to evaluate the content,scoring method and order of the items on the initial scale.After modification,the initial self-care ability scale of reproductive system primary health care for women of childbearing age was formed(prediction version).5.The second survey.In this study,310 women of childbearing age in Taiyuan,Shanxi Province,who met the exclusion criteria,were investigated on the spot or with the help of questionnaire stars to confirm the items of the scale and evaluate its reliability and validity.At this time,a positive self-care ability scale for reproductive system primary health care of women of childbearing age was formed.The items of the scale were selected by descriptive analysis,extreme group comparison,correlation coefficient,homogeneity test,factor load and exploratory factor analysis.The reliability of the scale was evaluated by internal consistency reliability,split half reliability and retest reliability.The validity of the scale was evaluated by content validity,structure validity and criterion related validity.Results:1.Item screening situation:combined with the literature review and semi-structured interviews,a self-care ability scale for primary care of reproductive system of women of childbearing age was initially developed,which included 6 first-level items(dimensions),18 second-level items and 58 third-level items.20 experts were invited for three rounds of Delphi expert consultations.The questionnaire recovery rates for the three rounds of expert consultations were 100%,95%,and 94.47%,and the expert authority coefficients for the three rounds of expert consultations were 0.898,0.913,and 0.911,all of which were greater than 0.7.The experts had a high degree of authority.The recommendations of the three rounds of expert consultation were 70.00%,52.63%,and 16.67%,and the coordination coefficients of the three rounds of expert consultation were 0.189,0.269,and 0.392.The primary health care self-care ability scale of reproductive system for women of childbearing age was formed,which included 6 first level items(dimensions),18 second level items and49 third level items.The survey was conducted on 310 women of childbearing age.Through item descriptive analysis,extreme group comparison,correlation coefficient method,homogeneity test,factor load and exploratory factor analysis,the formal self-care ability scale of primary health care of reproductive system of childbearing age was formed,which consisted of 6 first level items(dimensions),17 second level items and 44 third level items.2.The validity test of the scale:the content validity index of the total scale was 0.941,and the content validity index(I-CVI)at item level was 0.78-1.00.The exploratory factor analysis of the scale finally extracted 6 factors,the KMO value was 0.943,Bartlett’s sphericity test~2=9422.309(<0.001),and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 73.699%.The correlation validity was 0.755.3.The reliability test of the scale:the Cronbach’s coefficient of the total scale was 0.988,the Cronbach’s coefficient of each dimension was between 0.874 and 0.979,the score and half reliability of the total scale was 0.993,the score and half reliability of each dimension was 0.925-0.986,the retest reliability of the total scale was 0.905,and the retest reliability of each dimension was between 0.785 and 0.902.Conclusion:After testing,the self-care ability scale of reproductive system primary health care of women of childbearing age developed in this study has good reliability and validity.It can be used in the related research of reproductive system primary health care self-care ability of women of childbearing age.It can provide reliable tools for the evaluation of reproductive system primary health care self-care ability of women of childbearing age,and provide basis for the implementation of personalized reproductive health guidance.
