The Clinical Observation On Thetherapeutic Effect Of Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture On Hyperemesis Gravidarum

Objective To observe the clinical effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture on hyperemesis gravidarum.Methods 70 cases of hyperemesis gravidarum in the first hospital of Longhai City from March 2018 to October 2019 were randomly divided into two groups: metoclopramide group and wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group.Cases of the methoxychloropramine group were treated with routine methoxychloropramine to stop vomiting and maintain the balance of body fluid and electrolyte.The wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group were treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture for one course on the basis of methoxychloropramine to stop vomiting and maintain the balance of body fluid and electrolyte.Observe the duration of hospitalization in the two groups,and compare the changes of PUQE,NVPQOL,urinary ketone body and the overall effect.Results 1.0 cases was droped out in wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group and 35 cases were completed in practice;1 case in metoclopramide group was droped out because of the termination of pregnancy,34 cases were actually completed.The total dropout rate was 1.42%.The cure rate was 94.3% in the treatment group and 70.6% in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Before treatment,there was no statistically significant in fertility,age,urinary ketone body grade,PUQE and NVPQOL between the two groups(P > 0.05).3.After treatment,the scores of PUQE,nvpqol and urine ketone body were improved in both groups.In PUQE score,wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group(from 12.71 ± 1.45 to 5.37± 1.44)was significantly better than metoclopramide group(from 12.59 ± 1.88 to 6.88 ±1.81),there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05);For PUQE grade,wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group after treatment(mild /moderate),and metoclopramide group after treatment(mild / moderate),there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05);For NVPQOL scale,the score of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group(from 165.60 ± 7.67 to 84.17 ± 10.44)was significantly better than that of metoclopramide group(from 166.94 ± 9.50 to 96.55 ±12.33),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05);there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.The total cure rate of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group and metoclopramide group was 94.29%and 70.59%,respectively,with significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).Conclusion 1.Both groups can improve the symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum and improve the quality of life.2.The wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with metoclopramide group was better than the metoclopramide group in terms of average hospitalization days,improvement of hyperemesis and quality of life.3.No obvious adverse reactions were found in the treatment of wrist-ankle acupuncture,which has good safety.
