| Objective: Collect the prescriptions for the treatment of breast diseases,including medical and surgical symptoms,in the dictionary of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions,analyze the internal compatibility of the prescriptions by using the inheritance assistant system of traditional Chinese medicine,excavate the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of breast diseases,so as to provide theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of breast diseases,improve the clinical efficacy,also to provide references for the development of new drugs for the treatment of breast diseases.Methods: Download the dictionary of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions,in which the treatment of breast diseases prescription could be found,use Microsoft Excel 2010 for setting up data base and put in the name,the provenance,four natures of drugs,the five flavors,channel tropism,main functions and drug component of the prescriptions one by one onto the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistance system platform to set up data base.Some functions of the software such as frequency count,association rules and hierarchical entropy clustering will be used in analyzing the frequency of usage of commonly used drugs for breast disease,the frequency of occurrence of four natures of drugs,five flavors and channel tropism,to gain the rules of drug combinations and core compatibility combination and data to excavate an new formation.The relationship between drugs will be illustrated by charts and network graphs,using the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the theory of pharmacy to analyze and summarize the law of the treatment of breast diseases.Results: A total of 334 target prescriptions were finally included.The results showed that most of the prescriptions for breast diseases in the dictionary of prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine came from medical works after the tang dynasty.All these prescriptions came from General Records of Holy Universal Relief,Taiping Holy Preions for Universal Relief,Preions for Universal Relief,Arcane Essentials from the Imperial Library,A Supplement to Recipes Worth A Thousand Gold,Handbook of Preions for Emergency and so on,a total of 124 books.Most of the prescriptions are from the General Records of Holy Universal Relief,Taiping Holy Preions for Universal Relief and Preions for Universal Relief.In all the books mentioned above,the General Records of Holy Universal Relief has the most,37 prescriptions,followed by the Taiping Holy Preions for Universal Relief,a total of 29 prescriptions,and in Preions for Universal Relief,a total of 16 prescriptions recorded.Breast carbuncles,breast blowing,breast tuberculosis,breast fetish and breast rock were the most common breast diseases that those prescripitons aimed to cure.The breast carbuncles was mentioned 216 times,the breast blowing was mentioned 67 times,the breast tuberculosis was mentioned 38 times,the breast fetish was mentioned 17 times,and the breast rock was mentioned16 times.There are 505 different kinds of drugs in total used in the 334 recorded prescriptions.We can see from the frequency count that there are 59 drugs were used more than 8 times in the prescriptions for breast diseases.Some of the drugs’ frequency of usage is higher than 20,such as licorice root,angelica sinensis,radix paeoniae alba,radix angelicae dahurica,radix astragali root,ligustici rhizome,honeysuckle,ginseng,rhubarb,immature tangerine peel,trichosanthes kirilowii,frankincense,fritillaria,forsythia,radix rehmanniae,myrrh,cinnamon,snakegourd root,tangerine peel,parsnip and akebiaquinata.In terms of the four characteristics of the used drugs,cold and cool drugs were slightly more than warm and hot drugs,among which cold drugs accounted for the largest proportion,followed by warm drugs,and then flat drugs.The occurrence frequency of cold drugs was a total of 630 times,621 times of warm drugs,and 261 times of flat drugs.In terms of the five flavors,bitter drugs appeared most frequently(883 times),followed by pungent drugs(784 times)and sweet drugs(692 times).The proportion of bitter medicine was as high as 35.7%,followed by pungent and sweet,31.7% and 27.9% respectively,while the proportion of sour and salty was extremely low,accounting for less than 5%.The relationship between the passage of selected drugs and the spleen,liver and heart meridians was the closest.The drugs entering the spleen meridians was mentioned 745 times,the drugs entering the liver meridians was mentioned 721 times,and the drugs entering the heart meridians was mentioned 720 times.119 commonly used herb pairs were obtained in the study,the top ten were licorice root with angelica root,white peony root with angelica root,ligusticum chuanxiong with angelica root,astragalus root with angelica root,ginseng with angelica root,radix rehmanniae root with angelica root,ginseng with astragalus root,ligusticum chuanxiong with licorice root,ginseng with licorice root,tangerine peel with licorice root.By summaring the frequency of drugs used and extracting the drug pairs based on the mutual information method,32 groups of core combinations have been developed.Based on the entropy clustering of the complex system,15 new prescriptions were obtained.In the obtained 15 new prescriptions,drugs for soothing-liver regulating qi like bupleurum,rhizoma cyperi,immature tangerine peel,melia toosendan and drugs for promoting the circulation of qi and rectify thespleen like orange peel and fructus aurantii were frequently used.And also Angelica is commonly used to enrich and promote blood circulation,white peony root to nourish and harmonize the blood,with salvia miltiorrhiza,angelica,ligusticum,frankincense,myrrh and other drugs to invigorate blood circulation,remove blood stasis and relieve pain at the same time.The treatment methods mainly focus on nourishing qi and blood,regulating qi and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.Conclusion: Chinese medicine attaches great importance to the treatment of breast diseases since the tang dynasty.In Ancient people’s prescriptions of breast disease,cold and cool drugs are the main ones,while mild drugs are the auxiliary ones.Most of the drugs are bitter and cold,and most of them are distributed to the spleen and liver meridians.The most common ones are those that can nourish qi and blood,soothe the liver and regulate qi,and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis,and they are often used in combination with other drugs,with auxiliary that is heat-clearing and detoxicating,drying dampness and resolving phlegm and activating collaterals and eliminating stagnation.All those prescriptions indicate that our wise ancestor saw invigorating qi and blood circulation as a primary treatment,and apply some ancillary treatment to clearing heat and detoxification,dampening phlegm,collaterals and loose knot on the basis of pathogenesis.The composition of these new prescriptions includes both the modified prescription of ancient prescriptions and the compound prescription,which all follow the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the theory of pharmacy.These new prescriptions have their own characteristics,but the general idea of treating breast diseases in traditional Chinese medicine has not changed.It follows the treatment method,through syndrome differentiation,mainly to fill the deficiency,with some drugs thatefficient on soothe the liver and regulate qi,promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis,clearing heat and detoxification and eliminating dampness and phlegm. |
