ObjectsIn this study, patients with Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis were studied, and the clinical efficacy of acupuncture of Cervical Jiaji points for the treatment of Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis was investigated using a randomized controlled trial clinical research method, with a view to making a systematic and scientific evaluation of the efficacy of this treatment method and providing a more optimal treatment program of Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis.MethodsThe 66 subjects to be included were allocated to the conventional acupuncture combined with acupuncture of the cervical Jiaji points group and the conventional acupuncture group by completely randomized method. Both groups of subjects were treated continuously for 4weeks and observed for a total of 8 weeks. The Tinnitus Severity Assessment Scale(TSIS),the Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ),and the TCM Symptom Score were selected as indicators to used to evaluate the efficacy before, after and 4 weeks after treatment.Result1.The two subgroups were balanced, and 32 cases were eventually included in the statistical analysis in the experimental and control groups,respectively;2.The two groups of subjects were consistent and comparable at baseline(P>0.05);3.Efficacy evaluation:1)Intra-group comparison:The scores were significantly lower in both groups after treatment than before treatment.(P<0.01),TSIS score and tinnitus severity rating were significantly lower(P<0.01)in the experimental and control groups than before treatment(P<0.01),and NPQ score was lower in the experimental group than before treatment(P<0.05),while there was no statistical difference between NPQ scores before treatment and at follow-up in the control group(P>0.05);3)Comparison between groups:The TSIS score and NPQ score of the experimental group were better than those of the control group after treatment and at follow-up(P<0.05),while there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the TCM symptom score and the tinnitus severity ratingafter treatment and at follow-up(P>0.05);4)Efficacy: The total efficiency of the trial group after treatment was 93.75% better than the control group’s efficiency of 81.25%(P<0.05),while the total efficiency of the two groups at follow-up was 87.5% and 81.25% respectively, with no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusions1.Cervical Jiaji points combined with conventional acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can both have significant effect on Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis, but combination therapy is significantly better than conventional acupuncture in terms of short-term efficacy;2.Cervical Jiaji points combined with conventional acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can significantly improve the degree of patients with Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis, but the combination therapy has significant advantages in both short-and long-term efficacy;3.Cervical Jiaji points combined with conventional acupuncture was significantly better than conventional acupuncture in improving neck pain symptoms in patients with Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis, both in terms of shortand long-term efficacy;4.Cervical Jiaji points combined with conventional acupuncture and conventional acupuncture have significant effects in improving the symptoms of TCM in patients with Cervicogenic Somatic Tinnitus with Qi stagnation and blood stasis, but there was no significant difference in efficacy between the two groups. |
