Objective: The research is to study the clinical efficacy of Qingxin Peitu prescription sticking navel in the treatment of childhood atopic dermatitis(heart-fire and spleen deficiency syndrome),to provide scientific support for the clinical application of navel sticking method in the treatment of atopic dermatitis, and to clarify the clinical value of navel sticking method in the treatment of this disease. Methods: In this study,a randomized and controlled method was used to observe the clinical efficacy of Qingxin Pei Tu Fang sticking navel in the treatment of childhood atopic dermatitis(heart fire and spleen deficiency syndrome).By using the random number distribution table,72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.the treatment group was treated with Qingxin Peitu prescription and the control group was given Qingxin Peitu Fang orally. Both groups were given emollient and "Shehuang ointment" for external use.the course of treatment was 4 weeks. The improvement of patients’ condition before and after treatment was evaluated by comparing the extent of skin lesion, severity of skin lesion, pruritus, affecting sleep degree,SCORAD score and curative effect index after 4 weeks treatment, and the adverse reactions were observed. Results: 1.The symptom scores and SCORAD scores of the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were compared with those of the control group after 2 weeks and 4 weeks, and there was significant difference between the two groups(P﹤0.01).2.After 4 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in symptom score,SCORAD score, total effective rate and efficacy index between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).3.After 2 weeks of treatment, the symptom scores and SCORAD scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared between the two groups, there was significant difference in improving pruritus and affecting the degree of sleep between the two groups(P ﹤0.05),while the other comparisons were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, traditional Chinese medicine navel sticking and oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine are similar in improving symptom scores and SCORAD scores of patients with atopic dermatitis, and umbilical sticking of traditional Chinese medicine is more effective than oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine in improving pruritus and affecting sleep in patients with atopic dermatitis. It shows that traditional Chinese medicine umbilical sticking has a definite effect in the treatment of atopic dermatitis, and it is an effective method for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
