| BackgroundRecently, studies suggested that atopic dermatitis (AD) was associated with the infection of microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus epidermidis), and other aerobe, facultative anaerobes and anaerobe were found from Lesions of AD patients, which was associated with the part of the body. It was mainly intestinal gram-negative bacilli and bacteroides fragilis in lesions of legs and hip and mainly hemolytic streptococcus, clostridium and pseudomonas in lesions of fingers, scalp and face. There was no bacterial difference between lesions and non-lesions of AD except staphylococcus aureus which had a significant high colonization and the occur of AD is particularly related to Staphylococcus aureus infection.90% of patients with AD were children and youth, and the morbidity increased year by year. With the extensive use of antibiotics, the addition of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) increased the difficulty of treatment. Chinese medicine as an alternative antibiotic AD treatment, with a little toxic and side-effect, had a good effect on both clinical practice and research.ObjectivesThe study used the compound traditional Chinese medicine lotion(its component comprehends solomonseal rhizome, Honeysuckle Flower, liquorice root, peppermint etc.)which was sumrized by department of dermatology of Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital through a clinical trail. To investigated the antibacterial effect of compound traditional Chinese medicine lotion We observed antibacterial effect of compound traditional Chinese medicine lotion in different density on curtaneous commen parasite such as staphylococcus aureus, MRSA,α-hemolytic streptococcus, Escherichia coli,meanwhile we detected MIC, commensurated the inhibition zone and PH. In order to RD a kind of safe effective economic traditional Chinese medicine externally applied agent fitting to special people we settled the study groudwork.MethodsFeminine contrapositive group, masculine contrapositive group and experimental group were set in the medical sensity experiment. The Concentration of boiled Chinese medicine was concentrated at 1 g/ml. The agar-diluted pre-experiment showed that there was no bacteria survive if the concentration was higher than 1:4. Kirby-baller was adopted in this experiment. After measured the pH, slips contained the diluted Chinese medicine at the concentration of 1:1,1:2,1:4,1:8,1:16 were placed on the bacteria-vaccinated agars. After 24 hours'culture in thermotank, the effect of bacterial inhibition was observed by measuring the bacterial inhibited circle.ResultThe results show that the best concentration of antibacterial is 1:1 (lg/ml) and the order of antibacterial effect is:staphylococcus epidermidis>staphylococcus aureus>methicillin resistant staphylococcus auresus>α-hemolytic streptococcus>escherichia coli. Further more, there is statistical difference (P<0.05) between different lotion concentration groups. From the above, the TCM lotion has a favourable prospect in treatment against the infection of staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus which have close relation with AD, and other common bacterial.ConclusionOur experimental result prove that compound traditional Chinese medicine lotion composing with solomonseal rhizome, Honeysuckle Flower, licorice root and peppermint have exoteric bacteriostatic activity onfive commonskin parasite such as Staphylococcus aureus, staphylococcus auresus. |
