Objective:The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of epidural labor analgesia on the delivery process, clinical outcome of parturient and newborn, and to analyze the results of related clinical trials. Methods:A analysis was made of 316 full-term single birth expectant parturients who were hospitalized in Baoding Lianchi District Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019.According to whether they actively accepted delivery analgesia, they were divided into delivery analgesia group and non delivery analgesia group. The general clinical data?age, height, weight, number of deliveries, painless abortion receiving rate, painless delivery receiving rate and the education level of the puerpera?of the two groups of parturients, the time of three stages of labor, the clinical outcome of the parturient?the rate of giving up the trial delivery to the cesarean section, the abnormal progress of labor, whether members of the family have received painless delivery, the incidence of related complications during and after childbirth, such as premonitory uterine rupture?and the neonatal clinical data were collected The results of bed transfer?transfer rate, laborious breathing, cyanosis,Apgar score, umbilical blood p H,PCO2 and PO2?and the satisfaction of the parturient.Results:1. The general data comparison between the two groups showed that: compared with the non delivery analgesia group, the acceptance rate of painless induced abortion increased, and the education level increased, the Painless labor contact rate increased, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.2. The results of parturient time and satisfaction showed that compared with the non labor analgesia group, the first labor process was significantlyshorter, the second labor process was significantly longer, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?,the third labor process was not statistically significant?P>0.05?.The satisfaction of parturients in labor analgesia group was significantly higher than that in non labor analgesia group?P<0.05?.3. The results of clinical outcomes of puerpera in two groups showed that:compared with non delivery analgesia group, the rate of cesarean section in delivery analgesia group was lower, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;there was no significant difference between the two groups in the rate of abnormal labor progress, threatened uterine rupture and other related complications during and after delivery?P>0.05?.4. The results of clinical outcome of two groups of newborns showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups?P>0.05?.Conclusions:1.Those who received epidural labor analgesia had higher education level, had experienced painless abortion or had contact experience of painless labor.2.Epidural labor analgesia can effectively shorten the first stage of labor, prolong the second stage of labor, reduce the rate of cesarean section, increase maternal satisfaction, and has no effect on the delivery related complications and clinical outcome.3.Epidural labor analgesia has no effect on the clinical outcome of the newborn, which is worthy of clinical application.
