Objective1.To evaluate the oxidative stress status and NF-κB-related inflammatory cytokines of oral lichen planus patients by saliva samples and to explore the correlation of them.2.To investigate the clinical effect and influence on oxidative stress and NF-κB related inflammatory cytokines of TGP combined with compound betamethasone in treating EOLP using saliva samples.Methods1.30 patients with oral lichen planus(the OLP group)and 30 healthy people(the healthy controls)were selected. The OLP group was divided into 2 groups: non-erosive oral lichen planus(NEOLP)group and erosive oral lichen planus(EOLP)group.Indicators of oxidative stress MDA,8-OHd G,TOS,TAC and NF-κB related inflammatory factors IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α were determined by using ELISA.2.60 patients with EOLP diagnosed were divided into 2 groups. The control group was injected with Compound Betamethasone beneath the mucosa and was given one injection every 2 weeks, while the treatment group was administered with TGP capsules orally 28 days on the basis of the control group, every two weeks for a visit. The VAS score, erosive area, overall response rate, adverse reactions,MDA,8-OHd G,TOS,TAC,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α after 28 days of treatment.Results1.MDA,8-OHd G,TOS of OLP group,NEOLP group and EOLP group were higher than those of healthy people(P < 0.05),TAC was lower(P < 0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in OLP group,NEOLP group and EOLP group were significantly higher than those in healthy controls(P < 0.05).Compared with NEOLP,MDA,8-OHd G in EOLP patients increased(P < 0.05),while TAC and TOS had no significant difference(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in TNF-α and IL-6 between EOLP patients and EOLP patients(P > 0.05),but IL-8 increased significantly(P < 0.05).TOS was positively correlated with TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8 in OLP group,NEOLP group and EOLP group(P < 0.05),while TAC was negatively correlated with TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8(P < 0.05).2.VAS score and erosive area of the two groups were significantly reduced before and after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).After treatment, compared with the control group,VAS score of the study group was significantly reduced(P < 0.01).However,there was no statistically significant difference in erosive area between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).The total effective rate between the control group and the study group after treatment was compared, and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).No significant adverse reactions were observed in the two groups. In control group, after treatment,MDA,TOS and 8-OHd G decreased and TAC increased(P > 0.05),and in the study group, after treatment,MDA,TOS and 8-OHd G decreased and TAC increased(P <0.05).There was statistically significant between the two groups after treatment(P <0.05).All inflammatory cytokines of the two groups fell after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),however,there was no statistically significant between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusion1.In OLP patients, there was an increase in oxidative stress and the level of NF-κB related inflammatory factors increased, and there was a correlation between them. The presence of OS and inflammation promoted the occurrence and development of OLP.2.The TGP combined with Compound Betamethasone in treating EOLP can reduce the levels of NF-κB related inflammatory factors,it can also improve the oxidative stress status. The combined application of the two drugs had a good clinical effect and a certain clinical significance.
