Effect Of Semiconductor Laser Combined With Compound Betamethasone On Candida And IL-17,IL-38 Inflammatory Factors In Patients With Erosive Oral Lichen Planus

ObjectiveTo evaluate the levels of IL-17,IL-38 and Candida and their correlations through saliva samples from patients with erosive oral lichen planus(EOLP).On this basis,the short-term clinical efficacy of compound betamethasone combined with semiconductor laser in the treatment of EOLP was evaluated,and their effects on IL-17,IL-38,and Candida were evaluated through saliva samples.MethodsThe 30 patients with EOLP(Research group)and 30 healthy people(Control group)were selected,and the expression levels of IL-17 and IL-38 in saliva samples were detected by ELISA.The detection rate of Candida and the species of Candida were detected in the color medium,and the correlation between them was analyzed.And the 90 patients who were newly diagnosed with EOLP at the Department of Stomatology were randomly divided into three groups: A,B and C with 30 patients in each group.The treatment of group A was:1 mL compound betamethasone and 1 mL lido Caine were mixed and injected under the mucosa of the lesion;Group B was treated with a local laser spot-shaped "Z" irradiation;Group C was treated with a combination of A + B.After treatment,the area of erosion,changes in pain(VAS score),symptoms and signs,and the detection rates of inflammatory factors IL-17,IL-38 and candida in saliva before and after treatment were compared.ResultsIL-17 and IL-38 in research groups were significantly higher than those in control group(P < 0.05).The detection rate of Candida in the research group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05),while the species of Candida in the research group were not significantly different from that in the control group(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the area of erosion,pain and symptoms and signs before treatment in the three groups(P > 0.05).The area of erosion was significantly reduced after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The erosion area in groups A and B was significantly reduced,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,the VAS score decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but the B and C groups were significantly lower than A,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Comparing the different stages after treatment,the symptoms and signs of group C scores were lower than those in group A and group B,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,the scores of symptoms and signs in group B were lower than those in group A,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the three groups during the observation period.After treatment,compared with before treatment,the detection rate of Candida albicans in groups B and C was reduced,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).There was no significant difference between the groups in groups B and C after treatment(P > 0.05).The levels of IL-17 decreased after treatment in groups A,B and C,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Compared with group A and B,the level of IL-17 was significantly reduced in group C after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,compared with before treatment,the levels of IL-38 in the three groups A,B and C increased,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Compared with group A and B,IL-38 in group C was significantly increased after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).ConclusionThe occurrence of EOLP is significantly related to Candida infection and the increase of IL-17 and IL-38.The combined treatment is more effective than the single treatment,can quickly relieve the pain of the patient,promote the healing of the erosion surface,and improve the comfort of the patient.Combination therapy can promote the reduction of IL-17 and the increase of IL-38,reduce inflammation and reduce Candida infection.
