Objective: To analyze the operation process, effect and prognosis of sural neurovascular fasciocutaneous flap in repairing the skin and soft tissue defect of foot and ankle, and compare it with the anterolateral perforator flap of thigh,so as to provide reference for clinical flap selection.Method: From 2015 to 2019,53 flaps of 53 patients completed by the same surgeon in our hospital were included.Among them,28 patients used sural nerve flap and 25 patients used anterolateral femoral perforator flap. The operation time, flap repair effect and ankle function recovery of the two groups were analyzed retrospectively. Results: The complete survival rate of sural nerve flap was lower than that of anterolateral femoral perforator flap, and the incidence of vascular crisis was different, but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The average operation time of sural nerve flap was lower than that of anterolateral femoral perforator flap(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in pain, gait, daily activity, swelling, ankle range of motion and subtalar range of motion between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Compared with the anterolateral femoral perforator flap, the sural nerve flap is more concentrated in the operation area, and the pedicle vessels do not need to be disconnected and anastomosed, which shortens the operation time,so it can be used as the first choice for repairing the skin and soft tissue defects of the foot and ankle.Because there is no significant difference between the survival rate of the flap and the functional recovery of the ankle, the anterolateral perforator flap has a larger area and is far away from the operation area,so it can be used as a spare flap. |
