The Clinic Study Of The Sural Fasciocutaneous Flap Alonged With Peroneal Artery And Perforators To Reconstruction Of Soft Tissue Defects On The Heel Region And Dorsal Foot.

Objective : To investigate the use of the sural fasciocutaneous flap alonged with peroneal artery and perforators located by the color Doppler ultrasound for the reconstruction of soft tissue defects on the heel region and dorsal foot.Methods: Sixteen cases with the heel region and dorsal foot skin and soft tissue defect patients reconstructed through the sural fasciocutaneous flap alonged with peroneal artery and perforators from May 2013 to January 2015, observing the flap clinical effect.All patients received the color Doppler ultrasound before operration, and measured the distance between the mark point of each perforator and the tip of the lateral malleolus. Perforators were measured the actual distance between the each perforator and the tip of the lateral malleolus.The two groups data were compared and studied by statistics. Results: The distal of two flap occurred epidermis after operation, which were cured after dressing.The othor flaps survived complelety.All patients had recoveryed walking function.The sensory function recovery of heel region flaps with reconstruction of the sensory was between S0 and S1. The difference between the distance that measured from the mark point of each perforator through preoperative color Doppler ultrasound to the tip of the lateral malleolus and the actual distance measured from the each perforator to the tip of the lateral malleolus in operation is not significant statistically(P>0.05).Conclusion: Color Doppler ultrasound can precisely locate the surface position of the perforating branch of peroneal artery in preoperative, decrease the operation risk,, guarantee the safety of the flap.the use of the sural fasciocutaneous flap alonged with peroneal artery and perforators could provide wide range,had reliable blood supply,had hight survival rate,It was a reasonable approach.
