SOC Chip Design Based On Physiological Information Signal Processing

Pulse diagnosis is a characteristic diagnostic method in traditional Chinese medicine.It has accumulated rich experience and knowledge and has high clinical value.However,in the process of pulse diagnosis,there are many problems caused by subjective factors,such as many clinical differences,lack of objective standards,difficult to communicate and so on.In order to make pulse diagnosis,a classical method of traditional Chinese medicine,still play its vitality in modern medicine,in the tide of objectification of traditional Chinese medicine,various forms of pulse diagnosis instrument came into being.On the other hand,IC industry develops rapidly.SOC Design Based on ASIC is more and more popular because of its high speed,miniaturization and high integration.Based on the cortex-m4 core from ARM company,AMBA bus protocol and 0.18 micron technology of SMIC,this small SOC designed for pulse diagnosis instrument is accomplished.This article will first describe the general design method of digital integrated circuit and the related technologies of SOC design.Then,according to the requirements,the main structure of SOC system is put forward,the RTL level design of each module of the system is accomplished,including DMA controller,SPI interface,UART interface,GPIO interface,PWM unit,Watchdog unit,Timer unit,etc.In order to test and verify the system,the software test platform and hardware test platform are built respectively.According to the SOC design methodology,the theory is successfully applied to the design practice,and the synthesize process of the system is accomplished.The result is validated and the performance is analyzed.Finally,with the help of the back-end developers,the layout design is accomplished.The SOC system in this paper has reached the basic requirements of the design.It has certain practical significance and research reference value in the field of SOC chip design and the process of traditional Chinese medical science objectification.
