The Clinical Observation On Children’s Tourette Syndrome(Cause Of External Wind)with Modified Gouteng Yinzi

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Gouteng Yinzi in treating Tourette syndrome caused by external wind in children.Methods:60 children with Tourette syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n = 30).The treatment group was given basic nursing treatment and TCM Modified Gouteng Yinzi;The control group was given basic nursing treatment and tiapride hydrochloride orally.After 1 month of treatment,the changes of clinical symptoms and signs of the two groups were observed before and after treatment.Results:the two groups before and after treatment the total symptom score were compared in the group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group and control group have curative effect.After treatment,the total efficiency of the treatment group was93.33%,control group total effective rate was 90.00%,both groups have significant curative effect.After treatment,the two groups were compared in terms of motor tics and total tics,P<0.05,showed that the treatment group is better than the control group in motor tics and total tics.The two groups before and after treatment the symptom scores of TCM were compared in the group,P<0.01,showed that both groups can improve the symptom scores of TCM.The two groups were compared in terms of total symptom scores of TCM and secondary syndrome scores of TCM,P<0.05,showed that the treatment group is better than the control group in improving the secondary and total symptom scores of TCM.During treatment,no obvious adverse reactions were found in both groups.Conclusion:1.Modified Gouteng Yinzi and tiapride hydrochloride tablet can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of Tourette syndrome caused by external wind.2.Modified Gouteng Yinzi is better than that of tiapride hydrochloride tablet in improving motor tics,total tics,the secondary and total symptomscores of TCM.
