Objective: To observe the improvement of bladder function in patients,qi-deficiency and blood-stasis,urinary retention after stroke,by burning mountain fire which is a kind of acupuncture method, and to provide an effective treatment for urinary retention after stroke. Methods: 60 patients with no statistical difference, meeting the inclusion criteria, were divided into two groups,30 patients in the observation group and 30 patients in the control group,by random number table method. At first,The two groups of patients were all given basic treatment, and then, the control group increased the traditional acupuncture, and the observation group increased the burning of the mountain fire on the basis of traditional acupuncture. The treatment of each group is once a day,and each group is treated continuously for one course of treatment, which is 14 days.Observation index:The degree of controlling urination awareness, the treatment days of restoring autonomous urination in each group, bladder volume, residual urine volume, bladder function score and TCM syndrome points.Record the basic information of patients, the disease condition of patients, and the changes in various indicators during treatment, and analyze the collected data by SPASS 24.0 software. Results: 1.The volume of bladder, residual urine volume, the bladder function score,TCM syndrome points and the degree of controlling urination awareness were significantly improved compared with before treatment, and there was statistical significance(P<0.05).2.The first urination time of patients who had successfully urinated in the two groups was compared, and it was found that the treatment time of the patients in the observation group was significantly shorter. The time of first urination between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The observation group was cured in 12 cases, markedly effective in 16 cases, and ineffective in 2 cases. The total effective rate was 93.3%.The control group was cured in 8cases,markedly effective in 14 cases, and ineffective in 8 cases. The total effective rate was73.3%.The total effective rate was compared between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparing the symptom scores of qi-deficiency and blood-stasis in the two groupsbefore and after treatment find there is a statistical significance in two groups’ score difference(P<0.05).The difference in scores between the two groups after treatment was also statistically significant(P <0.05).There is a statistically significant difference in the difference in TCM symptom treatment between the two groups too.Conclusion:1.The acupuncture with burning mountain method and the conventional acupuncture have effects on the treatment of patient who got urinary retention with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis after stroke.2.Comparison between the conventional acupuncture and the acupuncture with burning mountain method, the latter has a better effect in treating patients who got urinary retention with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis after stroke.
