Objectives To construct a Knowledge-Attitude-Practice(KAP)scale for patients with colorectal cancer surgery on enhanced recovery after surgery, check the reliability and validity,so as to provide the suitable evaluation tools for the medical staff in understanding the knowledge, attitude and practice status of colorectal cancer surgery patients on enhanced recovery, the purpose of which is to provide theoretical basis for carrying out targeted health education and nursing measures. Methods 1.The item pool of the KAP scale for patients with colorectal cancer surgery was developed by the literature consulting and semi-structured interview. The draft scale was formed by using Delphi expert consultation method for consulting and surveying the scale. Then, the reliability and representation of expert consultation were analyzed.2.The draft scale for patients with colorectal cancer surgery was used to pre-investigated 179 colorectal cancer patients in one of the hospitals in Zhejiang Province.Statistical analysis of validity was conducted by using Content Validity Index(CVI)and contract validity, and the reliability analysis of scale was conducted by adopting internal consistency reliability,split-half reliability and test-retest reliability.Simultaneously, the status and effect factors of KAP of colorectal cancer patients in this hospital were analyzed through one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)and multiple linear regression. Results 1.The KAP scale of ERAS was developed to comprised 38 original items in 3 dimensions on knowledge, attitude and practice through literature research and qualitative study, specifically, knowledge dimension covered 15 items, attitude dimension covered 13 items, and practice dimension covered 10 items as well. The draft scale included 31 items in 3 dimensions by modification and adjustment of original items through two rounds of 15 experts. In the statistical analysis, the positive coefficients of every consulting expert was 100%,The number of commenters accounted for 66.7%and 6.7%,respectively.And authority coefficient of expert was 0.847.Coefficient of variation on knowledge, attitude and practice ranged from 0.089?0.167,Kendall coordination factor was 0.160?0.244 in the first consulting expert, the knowledge, attitude and practice variable coefficient in the second consulting expert were 0.119?0.150,Kendall coordination factor was 0.118?0.153.The differecnce was statistically significant by Chi-square test(P<0.01),which shows good coordination.2.The total Cronbach's ? coefficient of the scale was 0.812,and the Cronbach's ?coefficient of each dimension was0.762,0.815and0.702,respectively.The split-half reliability coefficient of the total scale was 0.805,and split-half reliability coefficient of each dimension was 0.705,0.785 and 0.712,respectively,which were above 0.6.The test-retest reliability was 0.712,which met the requirements of test. The content vadility index of each dimension was 0.94?0.97,and the content vadility index of the scale was 0.97.Statistical analysis showed that the correlation coefficient had significantly different between dimensions and dimensions to total scores. The contract validity was 0.802,and the factor analysis extracted 3 factors, the cumulative contribution rate was 63.927%,which was consistent with the structure of the questionnaire and further explained that the contact validity was good.3.The score of knowledge dimension of colorectal cancer patients in one of the hospitals in Zhejiang Province was(32.61±3.26),the score of attitude dimension was(41.85±3.78),and the score of practice dimension was(36.86±4.68),total score was(111.33±10.04).Conclusion 1.The KAP Scale for patients with colorectal cancer on ERAS has good reliability and validity, which can provide reference for the investigation of the status of patients with colorectal cancer on ERAS.2.We found that patient's knowledge about colorectal cancer surgery on ERAS is not enough, and the implementation of behavior is not ideal, but basically, they have a positive attitude. Many factors can influence colorectal cancer surgery patients on ERAS of KAP scale scores. Therefore,in the daily nursing process, appropriate intervention measures should be taken according to influencing factors to improve patients' knowledge of ERAS,and cooperate with positive attitudes and behaviors to achieve the real purpose of health education, and ultimately achieve the goal of reducing complications, reducing hospitalization costs, and improving hospitalization satisfaction.
