| Background In the past 170 years,revolutionary progress has been made in the development of narcotic drugs and anesthetic technology,among which the rapid development of visualization technology in recent years is particularly eye-catching.Visualization technology can not only accurately guide various anesthetic operations,but also contribute to diagnosis,treatment and vital sign monitoring,which has become one of the key technologies in the field of anesthesiology in the future.However,as an emerging technology,although it has been widely recognized in the field of anesthesiology at home and abroad,it is affected by many factors,such as regional differences,unbalanced economic development,cognitive level and so on.at present,there are still some problems,such as insufficient popularity,great differences in application level and so on.The overall level of development and application of visualization technology in China is still different from that of European and American countries.Liaoning Province,which is located in the northeast of China,has its inherent particularity due to the influence of regional,economic,environmental,cultural and other factors.The application and development of visualization technology also has its own characteristics.The application of visualization technology in the field ofanesthesiology in Liaoning Province started five years ago and has been popularized and developed in the past three years.Although it has gone through the course of development for 3 to 5 years,in fact,there is still a lack of detailed and accurate data to fully understand the current situation of this technology in Liaoning,and there is no way to know the level of this technology at home and abroad in this region.it is more difficult to control the visualization technology in the field of anesthesiology in Liaoning Province to solve the problems and the direction of development in the future.In other words,we know neither the past nor the current situation of this technology,which represents the direction of future development,nor do we know how to predict and guide the future development.Objective Accurately grasp the development status of visualization technology in the field of anesthesiology in Liaoning Province in recent years,and compare its differences with the same field at home and abroad,so as to provide basis and suggestions for further promoting the development of visualization technology in the field of anesthesiology in Liaoning Province.Methods The tertiary hospitals in 14 prefectures and cities under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Province were selected as the object of study,and the application of visualization technology in the department of anesthesiology in each hospital from 2017 to 20193 was investigated by questionnaire.One questionnaire was set every year,and the contents of three questionnaires were the same,including the general situation of hospitals and departments,the application of visualization technology in airway management,the application of ultrasound in visualization technology,and the application status of transesophageal echocardiography.This paper makes a systematic summary and statistical analysis of the feedback questionnaire,summarizes the application status of visualization technology in the field of anesthesiology in Liaoning Province according to the results of statistical analysis,compares its differences with the same field at home and abroad according to relevant literature reports,and puts forward suggestions for future development.Result A total of 294 questionnaires were distributed and 276 valid questionnaireswere collected,with an overall completion rate of 93.8%.There are 98 tertiary hospitals covering 14 prefectures and cities in Liaoning Province,of which there are 69 Tertiary A hospitals(75%),86 public hospitals(93.5%)and 26 teaching hospitals(28.3%).There are 54 hospitals with 30 doctors(58.7%),44 hospitals with 30 operating tables(47.8%),and 48 hospitals with annual operation cases of 3000000 cases(52.2%).There are 46hospitals(50%)with 10,000 cases of anesthesia per year.82 hospitals(89.1%)carried out the application of visualization technology in airway management.There are 44 hospitals(53.7%)with a total number of visual airway tools less than 5(53.7%),of which fiberoptic bronchoscope has the highest share(67.1%),50 hospitals(61%)are most commonly used in difficult airways,and 32hospitals(39%)are most commonly used in non-difficult airways.Compared with 2017,the number of visual airway management devices is increasing year by year(P<0.05).There are 66 hospitals carrying out ultrasound technology(71.7%).There are 53 hospitals with less than 2 ultrasound sets(57.6%).There are 29 hospitals(43.9%)that basically master ultrasound technology and the proportion of anesthesiologists is less than 30%.The number of ultrasound in tertiary A hospitals was significantly more than that in non-tertiary A hospitals(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the proportion of anesthesiologists mastering ultrasound technology between tertiary A hospitals and non-tertiary A hospitals(P>0.05).The number of ultrasound in teaching hospitals was significantly higher than that in non-teaching hospitals,and the proportion of anesthesiologists mastering ultrasound technology in teaching hospitals was significantly higher than that in non-teaching hospitals.Compared with 2017,the proportion of anesthesiologists who master ultrasound technology is increasing year by year(P<0.05).Thirteen hospitals(14.1%)carried out TEE/TTE technology.The number of tertiary A hospitals carrying out TEE technology was significantly higher than that of non-tertiary A hospitals(P < 0.05),and that of teaching hospitals was significantly higher than that of non-teaching hospitals(P<0.05).Conclusion1.In the past 3 years,the application of visualization technology in the field of anesthesiology in tertiary hospitals in Liaoning Province has shown an upward trend as a whole,but there is still room for increase.2.The application of visualization technology in airway management has a high popularization rate,but the technical quality and level need to be improved,the scope of application needs to be expanded,and special attention should be paid to scientific research.3.The application of ultrasound in visualization technology is not ideal.The number of hospitals carrying out related technology is OK,but the development is not balanced.There is a large gap between the number of equipment and the nature of hospitals,especially in the application and research of TEE/TTE technology,which should be improved as soon as possible. |
