| Objective: To investigate the psychological factors and quality of life of patients with gastric precancerous condition, and explore the influence of psychological factors on the quality of life. Methods: A total of 100 patients with gastric precancerous condition who were treated in our hospital’s Department of Gastroenterology from September 2018 to May 2019 were selected. All were diagnosed by endoscopy and pathological biopsy,of which 32 cases were chronic atrophic gastritis,29 cases were gastric ulcer,16 cases with remnant stomach,8 cases were adenomatous polyps,15 cases were gastric intraepithelial neoplasia, and they were recorded as the experimental group. At the same time,100 healthy people who were excluded from the gastric precancerous condition by endoscopic examination at our hospital during the same period of time were selected as the control group.Collected the age, sex, education, and marital status of the experimental and control groups, and asked them to fill in the Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),Self-rating depression scale(SDS),and Health Status Questionnaire(SF-36)(See appendix). There was no significant difference in age, gender, education, and marital status between the two groups of patients(P> 0.05),and all continuous variables were normally distributed. After sorting the data,SPSS 20.0 software was used for analysis.Independent sample t-tests were performed to determine whether the differences between the two groups of indicators were statistically significant. In addition,Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine whether the SAS score and SDS score were related to the indicators in SF-36 in the experimental group. The absolute value of the correlation coefficient is 0.8-1.0,which is extremelystrong,0.6-0.8 is strong, and 0.4-0.6 is moderate degree correlation,0.2-0.4 is weak correlation,0.0-0.2 is very weak correlation or no correlation.Results:(1)SAS score and SDS score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05);The scores of indexes except physical functioning in SF-36 were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05);(2)SAS score of patients with gastric precancerous condition was correlated with indexes except role-physical score and bodily pain scores in SF-36 in varying degrees. The SDS score was correlated with indexes except physical functioning score in SF-36 in varying degrees. Conclusions: Compared with healthy people, patients with gastric precancerous condition had more severe anxiety and depression and lower quality of life, and the degree of anxiety and depression was negatively related to the quality of life. The more serious anxiety and depression,,the worse the quality of life.Besides, depression had a greater correlation with quality of life than anxiety.Doctors are supposed to pay attention to the psychological treatment to improve the quality of life while treating patients with gastric precancerous condition. |
