Objective: To describe the status quo of the care burden, general self-efficacy and anxiety among the major family caregivers of elderly ischemic stroke patients and to analyze their relationships. To explore the influencing factors of anxiety among the major family caregivers of elderly ischemic stroke patients, thus formulate relevant measures for clinical medical staff to improve care efficiency for family caregivers, which provides reference and guidance to reduce the care burden and anxiety. Methods: Across-sectional survey method was used in this study. From April 2019 to December 2019,154 the major family caregivers of elderly ischemic stroke patients were selected by convenient sampling methods from 3 Grade tertiary hospital in Changsha. The survey tools used general information questionnaires,General Self-Efficacy Scale,Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale. This paper use Excel software to manage data.Descriptive analysis,Variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted by SPSS 22.0 software.Results:(1)The average score of the caregiver burden among the major family caregivers of elderly ischemic stroke patients was(52.24±11.64).The average score of self-efficacy was(21.46±6.04).The average score of anxiety was(53.13±6.35).(2)Stroke patients with different medical insurance types and the major family caregivers with different ages, relationship with patients, education level, work status, family annual income, conscious health status, whether there is someone to assist in care work, daily care time, and understanding of the disease, there is a difference in the level of care burden of the family caregivers, which was statistically significant(P<0.05);stroke patients that have different genders, ages, medical insurance, different ages, relationship with patients, education level, workings tatus of the major family caregivers, family annual income and conscious health status, whether anyone assists with work, daily care time, the degree of understanding of the disease, different caregivers' burden were proved to be statistically significant(P<0.05);different genders, medical insurance types, age of family caregivers, relationship with patients, education level, work status, family annual income, conscious healthstatus, whether anyone assists with work, daily care time, the degree of understanding of the disease, and the degree of anxiety among the major family caregivers of family care givers were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Pearson correlation analysis results show that there is a significantly negative correlation between self-efficacy and care burden(r=-0.521,P<0.001)?self-efficacy and anxiety(r=-0.684,P<0.001);there is a significant positive correlation between care burden and anxiety(r=0.423,P<0.001).(4)The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that: The education level, and knowledge of the disease of the family caregivers of stroke patients all enter the regression equation model, which can explain the 49% variation of family caregiver'sanxiety;Self-efficacy entering the regression model can explain the 46.8% variation of family caregivers.Conclusions:(1)The level of the careburden, general self-efficacy among the major family caregivers of patients with stroke were middle. The level of the anxiety among the major family caregivers of patients with stroke was low.(2)The influencing factors of anxiety of the major family caregivers of stroke patients included education level, understanding of the disease and self-efficacy.(3)There was a negative correlation between the self-efficacy,the burden of care and anxiety of the major family caregivers of stroke patients, and a positive correlation between the burden of care and anxiety.
