Objective:Spleen-nourishing and qi-regulating principle was used to treat functional dyspepsia postprandial distress syndrome of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome, and was compared with the western drug Mosapride Tablets. The improvement of clinical symptoms and recurrence rate were observed to objectively evaluate the efficacy of spleen-nourishing and qi-regulating principle,so as to provide clinical basis for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of PDS.Methods:Sixty patients with PDS of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome who were according with inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group. Each group had 30 cases. The treatment group was treated with the prescription of invigorating spleen and regulating qi prepared by the tutor, while the control group was treated with Mosapride Tablets. The course was 4 weeks.Changes in clinical symptom scores were recorded in pretherapy and post-treatment,adverse reactions were observed, and recurrence of the two groups was counted at the end of 8weeks after treatment. The SPSS software was used for statistical analysis of the observed datas.Results:1.The comparison of the overall efficacy of TCM symptoms:The total effective rate was 96.67%in the treatment group and 73.33%in the control group. And the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.The comparison of the total score of TCM symptoms:Compared with before treatment, the total score of TCM symptoms in the two groups both decreased obviously after treatment(P<0.01).The comparison between the two groups showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group obviously(P<0.01).3.The comparison of the efficacy of each symptom:the scores of each symptom in the treatment group were significantly decreased after the treatment(P<0.01);In the control group, except for loose stool(P>0.05),the score of other symptoms all decreased significantly(P<0.01,P<0.05).Between the two groups,in terms of epigastric distension and fullness, anorexia,,fatigue and loose stool, the treatment effects of the treatment group were better than that of the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05);in terms of nausea, vomiting and belching, the two groups had similar efficacy.(P>0.05).4.The comparison of long-term efficacy:the effective cases in the two groups were followed up at the end of 8 weeks after treatment.26 patients were interviewed in the treatment group and 19 patients in the control group. The results indicated that the treatment group had 4 cases of recurrence with a recurrence rate of 15.38%,and the control group had 9 cases of recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 47.37%.The long-term efficacy in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0.05)Clusions:Spleen-nourishing and qi-regulating principle can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with PDS of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome, reduce the recurrence rate and have good safety, which is worthy of further clinical promotion.
