Objective:This study makes observation of the clinical efficacy of the PDS (liver stagnation and spleen deficiency) that is a subtype of FD as the starting point. Clinical efficacy of Si Ni Si Jun Zi decoction were evaluated through both the theoretical and clinical aspects.Method:Take the outpatients of Mianyang city hospital as the research object,60patients that conformed to the diagnostic criteria of PDS were randomly divided into two groups.30cases were in the treatment group, the other30cases were in the control group. Under the principle of dispersing the liver and fortifying the spleen and harmonizing the stomach, the treatment group were given Si Ni Si Jun Zi decoction. The control group were given western medicine that contained Domperidone and Omeprazol capsules. The treatment of two groups were lasted4weeks. After the end of the course, the symptoms before and after treatment are observed to evaluate the treatment effect.Results:(1) The total effective rate of the treatment group is90.1%. The total effective rate of the control group is63.3%. The total curative effect between the two groups has significant difference (p<0.05), and the treatment group is superior to the control group.(2) The total scores of the treatment group clearly different from the control group after treatment (P<0.05). And there were significant differences between the treatment group and the control group in the improvement of singular symptom and sign (P<0.05). It is worth noting that, the therapy group was superior to the control one on improving clinical symptoms such as upper abdominal distention, bad appetite and faecal abnormalities.(3) There is no adverse reaction between the treatment group and control group.Conclusions:The Si Ni Si Jun Zi decoction that is modified in treatment of postprandial distress syndrome with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency has a remarkable curative effect and is superior to the control group.
