objectiveTo investigate the current situation of occupational stress and quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses,to explore the impact of occupational stress on the quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses,and to provide references for hospital managers to improve the physical and mental health of pediatricians and pediatric nurses.MethodsA cross-sectional survey was carried out by using multi-stage sampling method,and 662 pediatric medical personnel who met the inclusion criteria of this study were selected from Henan general hospitals and special hospitals(including children's special hospitals and maternal and child health hospitals)as the survey objects.The questionnaire includes general information questionnaire,WHO Quality of Life-BREF,Effort Reward Imbalance questionnaire and Workplace Violence Scale.The collected data was input with epidata3.0 software.SPSS 21.0 was used for analysis,statistical methods include descriptive analysis,?2-test,t-test,one-way analysis of variance,Kruskal-Wallis test,correlation analysis,regression analysis and the significance test level was ?=0.05.Results(1)The detection rate of occupational stress of pediatricians and pediatric nurses was 72.05%.Among them,the score of the dimension of external payment was 22.86±4.51,the score of the dimension of return was 36.26±5.21,the score of the dimension of over-commitment was 17.74±3.42.Logistic regression analysis showed that marital status,the status of dietary regularity,average weekly overtime,and whether to suffer occupational violence occupational violence were the influencing factors of occupational stress of pediatricians and pediatric nurses(P<0.05).(2)The score of physical dimension of quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses was 12.41±2.08,the score of psychological dimension of quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses was 12.36±2.12,the scores of dimension of social relations of quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses was12.86±1.93,the scores of dimension of environment of quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses was 10.91±2.21.The scores of fields of physiological,psychological,social relations and environment of quality of life of pediatricians and pediatric nurses were lower than the norm(P<0.05).Physical fields:gender,children's conditions,professional title,average daily working time,average daily sleep time,the status of dietary regularity,and occupational violence were the influencing factors of physiological fields of pediatricians and pediatric nurses(P<0.05).Psychological fields:Gender,working years,monthly income,average daily working time,average weekly overtime,the status of dietary regularity,and occupational violence were the influencing factors of psychological fields of pediatricians and pediatric nurses(P<0.05).Social relations:gender,monthly income,average weekly overtime,occupational violence were the influencing factors of the field of social relations of pediatricians and pediatric nurses(P<0.05).Environment:gender,marital status,monthly income,average weekly overtime,average daily sleep time,the status of dietary regularity,occupational violence were the influencing factors of the field of environment of pediatricians and pediatric nurses(P<0.05).(3)Correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between occupational stress and the fields of physical,psychological,social relations and environment of quality of life.Regression analysis showed that occupational stress had an impact on the fields of physical,psychological,social relations and environmental of quality of life(P<0.05).conclusion(1)The current situation of occupational stress of pediatricians and pediatric nurses is serious,the detection rate of occupational stress of pediatricians and pediatric nurses is high.(2)The quality of life of pediatric medical staff needs to be improved.Occupational stress is an independent factor affecting the quality of life of pediatric medical staff.Appropriate measures should be taken to reduce the rate of occupational stress of pediatricians and pediatric nurses,so as to improve their occupational life quality.
