Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Hyperuricemia From "Depression"

Objective: The project is to take the depression treatment academic thoughts as instruction to type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hyperuricemia.The patients accept the Chinese medicine treatment.Through the comparision of clinical symptoms and physicochemical indexes of the subjects before and after the treatment,it is to evaluate the clinical effects and safety,to develop new thoughts and methods for the Chinese medicine reatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hyperuricemia.Methods: The 108 subjects meeting the target standard(including the increased 20%for preventing the case shedding)are randomly divided into three groups: negative control group,positive control group,Chinese medicine treatment group.There are 36 subjects in each group.The negative control group is treated through living pattern intervention and blood glucose reduction western medicine.The positive control group is treated with Benzbromarone combining with the treatment of negative control group.The Chinese medicine treatment group is treated with Chinese medicine decoction combining with treatment of the negative control group.These three groups are treated for 4 weeks as a course.They will be observed for three courses.The negative control group is selected as the TCM syndrome score and Islet function negative.The positive control group is taken as the positive comparision group for measuring its uric acid dropping level.The blood glucose levels(FPG,2h PG,Hb A1c),serum uric acid(SUA),body mass index(BMI),fasting c-peptide(FCP),insulin resistance index(HOMA2-IR),islet function index(HOMA2-% B),TCM syndrome score and other therapeutic indicators and the differences of safety indexes such as hematuria routine and liver and kidney function are observed before and after treatment in the three groups.Results: After treatment,the Chinese medicine treatment group are remarkably improved in FPG、2h PG、Hb A1c、BMI、FCP、HOMA2-IR、HOMA2-%B level.The difference between the other two groups is statistically meaningful(P<0.05).As the SUA improved level by the Chinese medicine treatment group is worse than that of the positivecontrol group treatment,better than that of the negative control group treatment.The comparision variation between the Chinese medicine treatment group to the other two groups is statistically meaningful(P<0.05).The Chinese medicine treatment group is improved sharply in clinical symptoms under TCM treatment.The comparision variation between the Chinese medicine treatment group to the other two groups is statistically meaningful(P<0.05).Conclusion: The experiment shows that the TCM decoction treatment to type 2diabetes mellitus combined with hyperuricemia taking the depression cure as the instructing thoughts leading to the significant clinical effect.It can improve the patient’s TCM clinical symptom,also reduce the patient’s blood sugar level and blood uric acid level effectively,improve the function of islet and insulin resistance,reduce the BMI.There is no adverse reaction and safety problems during the treatment process.It is worth to be applied and propelled further.
