| With the advancement of reform of medical and health care system,more and more patients tend to the community service center,from where the patients need plenty of medical staffs to manage their medication issues,as well as assist patients to reduce unnecessary emergency,repetitive outpatient and inpatient treatment.In the end,unnecessary medical expense in medical insurance payments can be reduced.MTM service is an important part of primary medical,not only for general patients,but also for a variety of professionals to provide medical services.MTM service has both the first visit and subsequent visit,it emphasizes the health and disease prevention,which plays a role to integrate and coordinate various medical resources.Meanwhile,MTM is a kind of business model that develop and define together by American Pharmacists Association and NACAS in the United States,which has adopted widely by chain retail industry.Under the trend of separation of clinic from pharmacy,drugstores should transform from drug sales as soon as possible.To take part in medical service and should be charged with more responsibilities.At the same time,those licensed pharmacists who are registered or working in drugstores should also transform into MTM service instead of drug sales and quality management.This research method used in the literature and data,question survey,expert interview,as well as model analysis,which makes a summary about general description of MTM in China.Building a model of PEST,the article analyses the environment and difficulties of MTM about social drugstores in our country from four aspects,such as politics,economy,society,and technology.Besides,it puts forward some countermeasures and recommendations for MTM at home by learning from the theoretical basis and practical experience of the United States.In a word,it is intended to build comprehensive MTM model of social pharmacy,and continue to reform the public health system,to enhance the professional status of drugstores and pharmacists,even to maintain citizens’ health rights and interests. |
