Baseline survey of children with asthmaObjective To understand the current situation of management of asthma in children in China.Contents and methods A cross-sectional survey was used to investigate the involvement of 78 Members of the National Children’s asthma group and 40 children with asthma in Shanghai.Results Of all the visited asthmatic children by the 106 participants,(57.7±3.16)% aged 0-5 years old and(42.3±2.00)% aged 6-12 years old;(32.6±1.98)% were newly diagnosed and(67.4±1.98)% were followed up.According to 2014 GINA criteria,(18.1±1.44)% were uncontrolled,(34.2±1.90)% were partly controlled and(48.3±2.41)% achieved good control.The rate of hospitalization was(9.26±1.246)%and the death rate was(0.03±0.016)%.Conclusion The conclusions of this study believe that in less than or equal to 5 year old children with asthma and asthma around newly diagnosed rate,rate of asthma control,asthma hospitalization rate and mortality rate had no significant difference.Effect of low dose inhaled corticosteroids on the height of children with asthmaObjective The National Children’s asthma collaborative group online research to be based on the inclusion of children with asthma and healthy control group isto investigate the effects of low dose ICS on the height of children with asthma in a retrospective study of the treatment of ICS.Contents and methods This study used a questionnaire survey.This study collected a total of 894 copies of data,according to women aged 3 to 9 years old,male age 3 to 9.5 years old standard,excluding 141 data which does not meet the condition for age,eliminate not complete the questionnaire 13 and eventually get in line with the conditions of 740 copies of the complete data.Results The total weight of the three groups were different(P<0.001),with the highest weight of the asthma group treated with ICS,the health group and the no ICS treatment group was lower.The difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.001),which has the highest height of asthma group ICS treatment,health group and no ICS treatment group of lower height.BMI values between the three groups,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.017),which had the highest BMI value was ICS treatment asthma group,healthy group and no ICS treatment group was lower.The average growth rate of the healthy group was6.58,there were 6.73 in the treatment group and 7.32 in the ISC group,and there was no significant difference between the three groups(P=0.868).Conclusion The results of this study showed that the height,weight and BMI of asthma patients treated with ICS were the highest,and there was statistical significance,but there was no significant difference in growth rate between the three groups.The height of children’s father,mother’s height,mother’s education,family income,ISC treatment,and so on,have no obvious effect on the height of children with asthma.
