Objective To detect the levels of serum uric acid(SUA)and homocysteine(Hcy)in patients with cerebral small vessel diseases(CSVD),and to analyze the levels of SUA and Hcy in healthy subjects in our hospital. These indicators have statistical differences between the two groups. To investigate whether serum uric acid and homocysteine levels are associated with the onset of cerebral small vessel disease, and provide risk factors for cerebral small vessel disease, providing a basis for early detection and control of risk factors. Methods From November 2017 to October 2018,patients with cerebral small vessel disease admitted to the Department of Neurology,Baotou Iron and Steel Hospital,Baotou City,Inner Mongolia were selected as subjects. The diagnostic criteria were the consensus for the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral small vessel disease in China in 2015 [1].A total of 66 patients were included in the CSVD group.According to the head nucleus,32 cases were divided into the main subgroup lacunar infarction(LI)and 34 cases of leukoaraiosis(LA).And 60 cases of healthy physical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group in the same period. All patients were enrolled in the fasting >12h venous blood for UA(enzyme coupling method)and Hcy(circulating enzyme method),which were inspected by designated personnel of our hospital. The general data and biochemical indicators of the case group and the control group were analyzed. The suspected risk factors of the CSVD were screened and multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed. Results By comparison, the age,the proportion of hypertension, uric acid, homocysteine, and low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C)in the CSVD group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The gap is statistically significant.According to the screening results, further multivariate logistic regressionanalysis showed that age, high uric acid, homocysteine and combined hypertension were the main risk factors for CSVD.The probability of occurrence of CSVD was1.447 times and 1.048 times 1.524 times that of normal individuals. And 14.398 times;the study also analyzed the main subgroup of CSVD,found that older, high homocysteine may be the main risk factor for LI,the probability of developing LI is1.215,1.020 times that of normal people;advanced age, high uric acid And homocysteine may be the main risk factor for LA,and the probability of LA is 1.311,1.035 and 1.317 times of normal individuals, respectively. Conclusions 1.The age, combined hypertension,UA,Hcy,and LDL-C levels in patients with cerebral small vessel disease were significantly higher than those in the normal control group(P<0.05).However,gender,smoking history, drinking history, and diabetes history were observed in the two groups.Comparing, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.advanced age, high uric acid, high homocysteine and hypertension may be the main risk factors for cerebral small vessel disease.Older age, individuals with a history of hypertension, high UA,and high Hcy are more likely to develop cerebral small vessel disease than others.3.different types of cerebral small vessel disease, there are certain differences in the main risk factors;4.early detection of SUA and Hcy levels may be effective in preventing the occurrence of cerebral small vessel disease.
