Objectives In this paper,we examined the expression levels of serum interleukin-6(IL)-6,IL-17 and IL-35 in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and the correlation between various factors, and explore the clinical value of its expression level in COPD.Methods A total of 20 patients(18 males,2 females)with acute exacerbation of COPD,20 patients(17 males,3 females)with stable COPD and 20 healthy controls(16 males,4females)were enrolled in this study.Serum IL-6,IL-17 and IL-35 levels were determined by elisa, correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation between inflammatory factors. Results 1.The expression levels of IL-6 in peripheral serum of patients with acute exacerbation, stable phase of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and control group were(418.90±180.54)pg/ml,(193.27±92.94)pg/ml,(32.22±6.97)pg/ml.The differences were statistically significant compared with the control group(F=54.84,P<0.05).2.The expression levels of serum IL-17 in patients with acute exacerbation, stable phase of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and the control group were(322.29±184.33)pg/ml,(189.07±98.09)pg/ml,(94.71±40.15)pg/ml.The differences were statistically significant compared with the control group(F=19.00,P<0.05).3.The expression levels of IL-35 in patients with acute exacerbation, stable phase of COPD and the control group were(1.33±0.51)ng/ml,(2.25±0.55)ng/ml,(6.70±1.26)ng/ml.The differences were statistically significant compared with the control group(F=230.10,P<0.05).4.Compared with healthy subjects, the expression of IL-6 and IL-17 was significantly higher in patients with acute exacerbation and stable phase of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and the expression level of IL-35 was lower than that in healthy controls.5.There was a negative correlation between IL-6 expression level and IL-35 expression level(r=-0.702,P<0.001).6.There was a positive correlation between IL-6 expression level and IL-17 expression level(r= 0.488,P<0.001).7.IL-17 expression level was negatively correlated with IL-35 expression level(r=-0.524,P<0.001).Conclusions Serum IL-6,IL-17,IL-35 are involved in the acute inflammatory process of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and their changes in expression level have certain clinical significance for the determination of the exacerbation about chronicobstructive pulmonary disease.Figure 3;Table 3;Reference 134...
