Objective: Based on the theory of "preventing disease" of traditional Chinese medicine, the comprehensive TCM therapy of asthma tonic cream combined with the dog days of acupoint application therapy was applied to intervene in children with asthma remission syndrome of lung spleen-deficiency,and the comprehensive TCM therapy was evaluated by clinical efficacy indexes, provide the basis for Chinese medicine intervention in asthma clinical remission period. Methods: 70 children with asthma remission syndrome of Lung spleen-deficiency syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,35 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with the comprehensive TCM therapy of asthma tonic cream combined with the dog days of acupoint application therapy, while the control group was treated with inhaled budesonide suspension and montelukast sodium chewable tablets for 3 months. At the end of the treatment, the two groups were compared in terms of asthma symptom control level, lung function,TCM symptom score,TCM syndrome efficacy and safety,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the two therapies. Results: 1.Asthma symptom control level: there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),and the efficacy of the treatment group and the control group was similar.2.Lung function: the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P>0.05),and both groups were effective. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.TCM symptom score: the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),which could improve the TCM symptoms. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group. In terms of reducing the number of colds, improving spontaneous sweating, poor appetite and abnormal stool, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group. There was no significant difference in cough control level and improvement of facial symptoms(P>0.05).4.TCM syndrome efficacy evaluation: thedifference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.5.Safety: no adverse reactions were observed in both groups. Conclusion: Based on the theory of "preventing disease" of traditional Chinese medicine, the comprehensive TCM therapy of asthma tonic cream combined with the dog days of acupoint application therapy was used to treat children with asthma remission of lung spleen-deficiency syndrome. The efficacy of TCM syndrome is superior to that of the control group, and it has more advantages in improving the susceptibility, spontaneous sweating, poor appetite and abnormal stool of children, suggesting that the clinical efficacy of TCM comprehensive therapy is accurate, safe and reliable.
