Objective: To compare the efficacy of salvianolic acids and salvianolic acids combined with edaravone administered at cerebral infarction. Methods:A prospective study was conducted to classify 142 patients randomly with cerebral infarction who were hospitalized within 72 hours of onset into salvianolic acids and salvianolic acids plus edaravone. The patient’s clinical data were collected and the neurological function score, infarct size and hematology were recorded before and after treatment.Compare the effectiveness of the two treatment options, conduct a safety evaluation, and explore the treatment time window for both treatment options.Results:1.In terms of neurological function scores, the differences in NIHSS and mRS scores between the groups at 7 days,14 days, and 90 days after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05).In the Barthel Index score, the differences between the groups at 7 days,14 days, and 90 days after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were differences between the groups at 7 days and 14 days after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was no difference between the groups at 90 days after treatment(P > 0.05).2.In terms of cerebral infarct size, the difference was statistically significant within 14 days after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P > 0.05).3.At 90 days after treatment, the difference in total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.There were no differences in the neurological improvement rate within 90 days after the two treatments were used in different time windows(P > 0.05).5.The platelet count, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase increased in the salvianolic acid group, and the increase of creatine kinase in the salvianolic acid and edaravone group was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but both were within the normal range.Conclusions:1.In the acute phase of cerebral infarction,Salvianolic acid combined with Edaravone can effectively improve the neurological impairment and activity ability of the patients.2.Salvianolic acids combined with Edaravone can reduce the area of acute cerebral infarction.3.Salvianolic acids combined with Edaravone has a long treatment time window and is valuable in 72 hours after onset.4.Salvianolic acids combined with Edaravone is safe and effective.Blood routine, liver and kidney function, myocardial enzymes and other hematological indexes should be monitored regularly in the course of treatment.
