Clinical Study Of Jiawei Xiehuang Powder In The Treatment Of Recurrent Aphthous Ulcer And Its Effect On TNF-α And IL-2

Objective: Recurrent oral ulcer is the most common oral mucosal ulcer disease,and the cause of the disease is complicated.There is no specific drug at present.The main purpose of this study was to observe the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine Jiawei Xiehuang Powder and western medicine prednisone tablets in the treatment of RAU and its effect on the expression of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 in serum of patients with recurrent oral ulcer.The mechanism of action of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 in the pathogenesis of recurrent oral ulcer was discussed in depth.Provide new methods and ideas for the treatment of recurrent oral ulcers in the future.Method: Forty patients with recurrent oral ulcers were enrolled in the Department of Stomatology,Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2017 to January 2018.They were randomly divided into two groups: Chinese medicine Jia Wei huang xuan group(therapy group)and western medicine prednisone acetate group(Positive control group).Each group was randomly assigned to 20 patients with recurrent oral ulcer.on the same period,20 healthy volunteers from our hospital were collected as a blank control group.The expression levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 in the serum of the two groups of Chinese medicine and western medicine were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISa),and the expression levels of two factors in the healthy volunteer serum of 20 patients in the blank control group.after treatment for one course of treatment,the same method was used to detect the changes of serum tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 expression levels in the two groups of Chinese medicine Jia wei Xiehuang Powder group and western medicine prednisolone acetate tablets.We also compared the long-term(one-year)efficacy of twogroups of patients with Chinese medicine Jiawei Xiehuang Powder and Western medicine prednisolone acetate tablets.Result:The treatment group was cured in the long term(one year)14cases(70%)were cured,3 cases(15%)were markedly effective,2 cases(10%)were effective,0 cases(5%)were ineffective,and the overall effective rate was 95%;The positive control group was cured in the long term(one year)in 8 cases(40%),markedly effective in 2 cases(10%),effective in 4 cases(20%),ineffective in 6 cases(30%),and the overall effective rate was 70% The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The levels of serum tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 in the treatment group and the positive control group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment.The difference was statistically significant(bothP<0.05);In the patients with recurrent oral ulcer in the treatment group and positive control group,the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 were analyzed by Pearson correlation factors,whether in the treatment group and positive control group,there is no correlation between tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2(P>0.05).Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine Jiawei Xiehuang Powder and Western medicine prednisone tablets can down-regulate the expression levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 in patients with recurrent aphthous ulcer,promote ulcer healing and reduce ulcer recurrence,but in the long run,Chinese medicine Jiawei Xiehuang Powder has more advantages,which can reduce the recurrence of the disease,prolong the time of ulceration and improve the quality of life of patients.It is worthy of promotion and application in future clinical work.
