Objective:To record the vaginal bleeding pattern of the subjects with Etopodiene subcutaneous implant, evaluate the vaginal bleeding pattern and its relationship with anthropometric variables, and provide effective medical consultation for the users. Methods:A retrospective analysis of vaginal bleeding patterns was performed in 68 women using etomidate as a contraceptive method at Shanxi Medical University from October2013 to December 2018.Subjects were divided into two groups The good vaginal bleeding pattern group was group A,and the remaining subjects were group B.The relationship between vaginal bleeding pattern and anthropometric variables was analyzed by using menstrual diary cards.Results:1.According to the level of 0.05,t test showed that there was no significant difference in age, number of pregnancy and age of Menarche between Group A and group B.2.According to the level of 0.05,t-test indicated that there was significant difference between Group A and Group B in Basic Body Mass Index.3.Cochran q test indicated that the vaginal bleeding pattern of most subjects could be improved with the time of use(Q 73.156,p 0.001).4.Cochran q test at the 0.05 level indicated that fromthe third reference cycle, there was a significant difference in the pattern of vaginal bleeding between the users and the first reference cycle.5.According to the 0.05 level, the Spearman rank correlation test showed that there was a moderate to high negative correlation between the vaginal bleeding pattern induced by ESTRADIOL and the body mass index(BMI)of the subjects. And with the use of time, the correlation between the two gradually weakened.Conclusion:1.The vast majority of egestrene implant users showed good vaginal bleeding patterns, while those with a lower BMI were more likely to have poor vaginal bleeding patterns, most of which improved over time.2.Patients with poor vaginal bleeding after implantation for half a year should take out the implants as soon as possible. |
