Analysis On Professor XIONG Mo-nian’s Rule Prescriptions For Common Gynecological Tumors Based On Data Mining

ObjectiveTo explore the experience on prescribing drugs for common gynecological tumors of Xiong Monian,a famous traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)doctor in the treatment of malignant tumors in Jiangxi Province,and to promote the inheritance of famous doctors and guide the clinical practice.MethodsA total of 120 cases of gynecological malignant tumors were collected from Professor Xiong Monian’s outpatient medical records from 2016 to 2018.They were treated for more than 3 months and more than 3 times,and were able to take medicine according to doctor’s advice.Among them,59 cases were breast cancer,25 cases were ovarian cancer,20 cases were cervical cancer and 16 cases were endometrial cancer.The general information of patients,their past medical history,diagnosis,treatment and prescription of TCM were inputted into the corresponding module of TCM Inheritance Assistant Platform,and the database was constructed.Through the frequency statistics of software,the common drugs that Professor Xiong Monian was used to diagnose and treat common gynecological tumors(including breast cancer,ovarian cancer,cervical cancer,endometrial cancer)and single diseases,and their nature,flavour and channel tropism can be concluded.The data analysis module of system can be used to make the association rules analysis for input data and obtain core drug pairs and drug combinations,and through the complex system entropy cluster analysis,new prescriptions can be obtained.Then the differences between single disease and common gynecological tumors will be compared.Results1.A total of 906 prescriptions were included for frequency analysis.The results showed that 362 Chinese materia medica were used in 906 prescriptions,and the top ten were Herba Hedyotis,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Radix Ginseng,Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Rhizoma Paridis,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae,Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Jiujielan and Radix Angelicae Sinensis.The nature of drugs were mainly cold,warm and normal,and the flavors were mainly sweet,followed by bitter and pungent.In meridian tropism,the liver meridian,spleen meridian and stomach meridian are the most.2.The general analysis results showed that the common drugs used by Professor Xiong Monian in treating gynecological tumors were Herba Hedyotis,Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Radix Ginseng,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Rhizoma Paridis,Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Jiujielan,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Tiemalian,Jinchanhua,Rhizoma Fagopyri Dibotryis,Xiaojiesan,Caulis Polygoni Multiflori and Carapax Trionycis.The single disease analysis showed that the common drugs used in treating breast cancer were Radix Ginseng,Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Herba Hedyotis,Rhizoma Paridis,Jinchanhua,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Rhizoma Fagopyri Dibotryis,Jiujielan,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Radix Bupleuri,Carapax Trionycis,Xiaojiesan,Caulis Polygoni Multiflori and Radix Angelicae Sinensis.The commonly used drugs for ovarian cancer were: Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Herba Hedyotis,Rhizoma Paridis,Radix Ginseng,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Rhizoma Fagopyri Dibotryis,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Tiemalian,Caulis Polygoni Multiflori,Jinchanhua and Radix Sophorae Flavescentis.And the common drugs for cervical and endometrial cancer were: Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Rhizoma Paridis,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,Radix Ginseng,Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae,Tiemalian,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,Herba Hedyotis,Carapax Trionycis,Xiaojiesan,Herba Taraxaci,Radix Angelicae Sinensis.3.Analyzing and excavating the potential drug-use rules of new prescriptions,then 18 new prescriptions for gynecological tumors,13 new prescriptions for breast cancer,17 new prescriptions for ovarian cancer and 13 new prescriptions for cervical and endometrial cancer were obtained.ConclusionsProfessor Xiong Monian used the combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation in the treatment of common gynecological tumors.On the basis of syndrome differentiation,he often equipped with anti-tumor drugs according to the characteristics of the disease.In addition,he paid attention to regulating the spleen and stomach qi,and established the method of "benefiting qi and clearing toxins".Professor Xiong Monian’s prescriptions for the treatment of common gynecological tumors mostly embody the method of "benefiting qi and clearing toxins",which is the general rule of treatment for cancer patients advocated by Professor Xiong Monian.In the aspect of drug selection,drugs for benefiting qi are mostly Radix Ginseng and Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,and for nursing spleen and stomach qi is Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae,for clearing heat and removing toxicity are Herba Hedyotis,Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Jinchanhua and Rhizoma Fagopyri Dibotryis,and for promoting blood circulation and removing obstruction in collaterals are Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Caulis Polygoni Multiflori and Xiaojiesan.On this basis,different cancers have slightly different combinations.For example,breast cancer is mostly matched with Radix Bupleuri to disperse stagnated liver qi and activating qi flowing;ovarian cancer,cervical cancer and uterine canceris are mostly matched with Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis or other drugs for clearing heat and promoting diuresis.This is due to the different location of diseases.
