| Objective: To demonstrate the clinical efficacy of chitosan combined with traditional Chinese medicine mask in the treatment of Damaged skin barrier with inflammatory stimulation of chloasma.The improvement rate of melasma area severity index(MASI),MDR,VISIA examination of inflammatory red area,and incidence of adverse reactions were applied.Methods: A total of 40 female patients with chloasma with impaired skin barrier and inflammatory irritation were selected according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.All patients were from the Department of Dermatology of Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hebei Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.They were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group,with 20 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with chitosan combined with traditional Chinese medicine mask,chitosan 2/day,Chinese medicine mask(made by Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine)2/week.The control group was given a topical hydroquinone cream(2% hydroquinone combined with 0.025% vitamin A cream,0.05% dinad cream)for topical application,1 day.Both groups were treated for 3 months.All enrolled patients underwent MASI score,VISIA skin examination at the first treatment,fourth week,eighth week,and twelfth week after treatment start,and the area of the inflammatory red area under VISIA was evaluated.The number of adverse reactions and the severity of adverse reactions in patients during the treatment period were statistically analyzed.To determine the efficacy and safety of chitosan combined with traditional Chinese medicine mask in the treatment of chyloma with impaired skin barrier and inflammatory stimulation.The statistical analysis of this study was performed using SPSS 17.0 software.The measurement data was expressed as ―`x±s‖.The t-test was used for analysis.The count data was analyzed by chi-square test and Fisher exact probability method.P<0.05 indicates that the difference is meaningful.Results: 1.MDR index:After 4 weeks of treatment,the MDR of the treatment group was 0.06±0.018,and the effective rate of MDR was 0.The control group had an MDR of 0.26 ± 0.028 and an effective rate of 35%.After 8 weeks of treatment,the MDR of the treatment group was 0.23±0.034,and the effective rate of MDR was 20%;the MDR of the control group was 0.24±0.035,and the effective rate was 30%.After 12 weeks of treatment,the MDR of the treatment group was 0.38±0.032,and the effective rate of MDR was 75%;the MDR of the control group was 0.27±0.043,and the effective rate was 40%.At the end of the treatment period,the difference in MDR efficiency between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.VISIA detectorAfter 4 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 30%;the control group was 45%.After 8 weeks of treatment,the effective rate was 70% in the treatment group and 50% in the control group.After 12 weeks of treatment,the effective rate was 90% in the treatment group and 60% in the control group.After the end of the treatment period,the difference in efficiency between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).3.Adverse reactionsDuring the treatment,there were no obvious adverse reactions in the treatment group.In the 12-week course of the control group,a total of 8 patients had adverse reactions.The main manifestations of adverse reactions are burning discomfort,erythema on the face and final pigmentation.Conclusion: Chitosan combined with traditional Chinese medicine mask for the treatment of skin barrier damage with inflammatory irritation of chloasma has no obvious adverse reactions,and it has high safety.The onset is relatively slow,but mild and non-irritating.With the prolongation of treatment time,thetherapeutic effect is more obvious,and the therapeutic advantage is more exposed... |
